Is it me, or was Sidorak not always this spineless? I could've sworn at one point that he realized that he'd been tricked by Roodaka to check on Keetongu on his own, and then allowed the beast to end him out of shame for being manipulated so easily...
@@ltb1345 If that's true, that's just more of Greg second-guessing the Miramax movies' better ideas. Sidorak isn't a fool just for comedic relief, it's just his characterization that plays well into this narrative where the true villain is Roodaka. He's a manipulator who got everything he wanted and let the power go to his head when Roodaka became HIS manipulator. Him ending up so arrogant to think Roodaka actually loved him all to die at her hands via Keetongu makes a lot more sense than him suddenly realizing how foolish he was moments before his death and allowing himself to be killed. If Greg wrote it so that he realized some trick in the immediate moment before his death, that'd be fine, but Greg clearly loves principled villains with strokes of genius and putting that on Sidorak is kinda dumb when Makuta already has that covered.
I will always appreciate Bionicle in modern day memes
Sidorak wasn't even vibin so there goes another meaningless casualty
That's the point of a vibe check. If you aren't Vibin', you automatically fail.
Another epic Vibe Check in Bionicle was when Tuyet tried to follow Takanuva through the portal.

What an honor it is to get your vibe yeeted by Yeetongu himself.

I think that's how it was in the book. His character was kind of messed up in the movie for the sake of comedy relief.
