In this video I show how I diagnose and replace a Mercruiser Fuel Pump step by step
I show which tools I use for the job
Background for the video is that I had problems get high RPM.
The engine would surge
Loss of power on high rpm and load
I did this on my Mercruiser 4.3 LX from 1996
But this is applicable for all Mercruisers with carberator and fuel pump using a pressure between 3-7 psi

when you start de engine, the fuel pump is permanently on?

Yes. Fuel pump runs continuously
