Unit 01 Prototype Archax
I boarded the Archax, operated from the cockpit, and filmed a test run at a maximum speed of 10km/h.
10km/h in vehicle mode with arms folded and front legs extended forward,
We are proceeding with the design assuming movement at 2 km / h in robot mode that can operate all joints,
This time, we are testing whether we can actually achieve that speed.
We are a company developing #Archax, 4.5m 3.5t piloted robot. The prototype is scheduled to be completed in spring of 2023. Check #Archax for our record!

It's a really slow moving car (that has to be on fairly flat ground) with very slow moving arms.. I don't get the excitement 😕

Yeah whatever happened to the kuratas? That thing was awesome, they even made a music video of it.

@@ThePaalanBoy More improvements & testing have been done to Archax in less time compared to Kuratas.
For example, Kuratas' original trailer in 2014 had a CGI render of itself driving on the street. We never saw Kuratas ACTUALLY at speed until the Megabots fight many years later. Archax is able to demonstrate driving capabilities a lot sooner in its development cycle.
昔ガンヘッドって日本のSF映画あったけどあんな感じのロボットですね、将来的にはスコープドックみたいな２足歩行のロボットを目指してるんですかね？やっぱり難しいですよねwいつか出来たらいいな、いくつになっても２足歩行の搭乗型ロボットは男のロマンですから。

今までのは乗員の乗り降りや走行においてはガクガクとしたグラつきが必ずあって、それが安っぽさや張りぼて感を出してしまっていたが、アーカックスにはそれが一切無く、どっしりとした安定感があるのが何より凄い
これなら乗り心地も良さそう

I'd say it's just a really good engineering solution to place the pilot, and where all the articulation and power will be.

@@offlinegamer6756 I'm sure with time and further patience, it'll get faster, projects like this take a lot more work than what's portrayed in entertainment industry. This group of extraordinary individuals seem to have made further progress than most it seems, so I think their investors have money well spent here. If you truly want faster than perhaps you should study up and try to join them. Haha, I only jest, but I do encourage those that are interested in this tech to really look into just how much it takes to get to this level of engineering and creativity.

重心の高さや足回りの強度の問題から、ある一定の速度以上の左右への転回が極めて難しそうではありますが、１０年後２０年後にどうなっているのか大変興味があります。

It's nice that another group picked it up... Though the design of the outer plates are made to look fancy, its blue prints are still made by suidobashi heavy industries Robot Kuratas. Unless Tsubame industry has its own designs made from scratch.
When you compare the two robots (Kuratas and Archax) only the design for its appearance is different from the Kuratas... But good work to tsubame industry!!

Great work I noticed it has camera on the arm. Never thought you would need one unless you 're doing precession work I am guessing. Also when you where moving in reveres you had the hatch open. Wondering is there no back up camera in the cockpit or is that for safety just in case you don't see something. But over all great start just now it time to make it move faster and stronger. I feel it could at least go 25 mph (40Km/h) before safety concerns and not pushing and could be a great goal. Keep up the great work

作ってみるとわかってしまう人型汎用機より特化機（戦車や戦闘機）のが優れているということ
もう人型汎用機を戦闘機や戦車に変形 または良いとこ取り(スティレットや轟雷みたいな)させれば多少は人型に軍杯が上がりそう
人と同じ動きもしくはそれ以上に軽快に動くようになってようやく他の兵器と同じ土俵に立てるわけだからね（それでも採用されるかは微妙
人型だと可動部が多くなるからメンテナンス性も機体剛性も落ちるしね。
それはそれとして、アーカックスの技術は凄いしカッコいい！

Amazing work of engineering! Though, its abit too slow to be used for urban warfare. Perhaps replacing the wheels, with Mecanum wheels so that it can move sideways and rotate the whole machine at the same time. Otherwise, good job!
It's obvious that this is just a proof of concept prototype to test the tech and see if it all works as intended. Seeing how all worked well, next model will go for faster movements and more maneuverability, as well as actually using the arms. Man, mechs are becoming real, and I love it 🥲
You will never see mechs in any kind of warfare ever. Unlike what anime and movies show, a mech is a colossal tactical disadvantage. They're huge targets for small scale anti tank weapons...and if an rpg can penetrate a tank's armor it can also destroy a mech. On top of that all those moving parts are structural weakpoints with a massive maintenance factor. Sorry, but mechs as actual weapons will always remain fiction.
@@justalex4214 I agree, however... to be resistant to modern-day combat, it has to exceed over the techs- especially armor and weakpoints in order to combat other "mechs"

@@BvLee This, the first of everything will always have lots of room for improvement. Hell, the first tanks were slow as hell like this mech, it was later that they were refined to be more agile and versatile. So yeah, just because a prototype costed a ton and is pretty slow doesn't mean it's a failure, it becomes one if the R&D guys can't find a way to eliminate the faults, which may take a while yes, but with enough time it will happen, at least with sizes like the one in the vid. The building sized ones tho, yeah, not gonna happen unless a new alloy capable of supporting such behemoths is made or some kind of tech makes it doable, cus yeah, too much mass for a humanoid form to support
Put some antitank armor, a Gatling gun + rocket launcher will be awesome.

次世代機は現行サイズと並列で小型化路線も見てみたいですね。
前部ハッチ構造はガノタ勢にはロマン100％ですが、実利は乏しい気もするので、次のプロダクトでは背部か側面からシートごと搭乗できると面倒な機構を割愛できる分効率化が図れるような気もします。（素人の浅知恵ですが）
