I purchased TourMaster air boots 10W but before I wear a Trooper boots 10 1/2 Wade mostly I have trouble just finding boots come in my size because I wear 10.5 wade! Mr CB3 ☕
I used the Alpinestar Faster 3 boot and went down with it. I'll say a 1,1,1,1 boot seems fine until you crash! My right foot is black blue blue from the sole to mid calf. Did the shoe work? Shure, but not good enough for me anymore because I know what happens in a crash with your foot under the bike. The transverse stiffness dissipates the higher you go (logical) so if you start kind of poor, it gets way worse past your foots sole. What is good for general riding isn't good for general crashing as I found out. Beats a sneaker, yes, but to expect no significant injury is too optimistic with a riding "shoe" like the faster 3. I have the photos to prove that too. Ask me! I'll be looking for a higher rated boot, not riding shoe, from here on.
Thanks for that important information. I had a seasoned instructor when I took my Spyder riding class who really emphasized the importance of safety and the proper clothing. Within one week, I had purchased the right gloves, the right jacket and the right boots for my safety. ATGATT, it's that simple! Cheers Coach!
There are so many good boots, but finding a boot my size is so grrrrr. I also want an everyday that breaths well but one for rain as in Florida, you have to deal with lots of rain. Great video!
I ride with the Icon Storm hawk boot, These boots are very comfortable and waterproof .... good review I am happy with my boots with the ryker Alain & Yellow
Another outstanding video with easy to understand content. Thank you for all you do for both the mtorcycle community in general, and the Can Am community specifically. Keep up the good work. Happy Motoring!!
Great video. I have a slightly wider foot and a lot of motorcycle boots are too tight in the foot bed. For street riding and touring I use Daytona touring boot in wide. My go to ADV boot is the Forma Tera Evo which has a slightly wider foot bed. I had a chance to try on these boots at the BMW MOA rallies which is a great place to check out a lot of boots.
another educational video. a boot is not just a boot
Bob, Thank you for posting videos that help us be safe with mindset, skills and protective gear. 😊

Well, this video certainly explains why I never see Motorcycle Crocs or Motorcycle Flip-Flops for sale, but I have seen them on Motorcycle riders 😳😖😅

Just checked my boots. They are 1 2 2 2. Again, you have added to my knowledge base. Like your glove video I had no idea boots were rated. Thanks.

Do you carry extra walking around shoes for when you get to where you are going?
Hello Sea to Sky!! Lol
C4YT
You won't want to give this video "the boot".
Could you please show us some women’s boots?
If I had some I would.
