US General Cavoli: Russia is actually winning the conflict in Ukraine
Cavoli stated this in testimony to the House Armed Services Committee. He explained that the degradation of the Russian armed forces" was grossly misrepresented by the media.
Might wanna go watch this General’s testimony.
We shouldn't be surprised. The American media also told us that Ahmaud Arbery was a jogger and Bruce Jenner is a woman.

Independent agencies locating individual graves and talking to family members. It's the lowest lowball figure you could get. The real number is many times that.
And after all that, it doesn't really matter to me. I'd prefer no one die at all. Just pack up and go home. They all have homes and they're not going to find homes in Ukraine. They're not welcome. Under different circumstances, leadership and attitudes they could have been welcome.

If Ukraine is losing, how many more years will it take for Russia to win. As long as Russia occupies parts of Ukraine the war will continue. Even if every last Ukrainian soldier is killed, the international volunteers will continue to fight. Mercenaries cannot best volunteers. An unjust war cannot be won. That’s why the US lost the Vietnam and Afghanistan wars.

You are correct that western countries could have helped end the war a while ago by providing more assistance to Ukraine. In early June adviser of Zelensky Oleksiy Arestovych reported 100 KIA a day for Ukrainians or 10000 KIA 30000 wounded and 7000 missed in slightly more than three months.
Following this trend 42500 KIA and 135000 wounded to this day.
Of course, these numbers are rough estimates based on early Ukrainian data but this can be surely taken as the minimum casualties that Ukraine suffered.
Interestingly, the Ukrainian Government reported 10000 dead in December.

Actually, he stated that Russia's ground forces have been somewhat degenerated but that they have been replenished to over 100% capacity, meaning they are increasing in strength. And 80 planes is a drop in the bucket. I understand a lot of this is hard to hear but we should be honest with ourselves & demand the truth. It does nobody any good to pretend that everything is swell. The US claimed it was 200,000 last year. The same intelligence claimed that by June of last year, Russia was supposed to lose all its missiles and ammunitions, russian generals were dying, HIMARS was a game changer, Putin was dying of cancer since May of last year. The truth is, Russia is raining missiles to Ukraine everyday. They forgot to mention that majority of these casualties are prisoners, wagner troops, chechen fighters and fewer Russian forces soldiers. I fully admit my bias is towards Ukraine; however, a lot of evidence from collaboration from internal Russian government leaks shows that Ukranian numbers of Russian casualties being reported by the UA are remarkably accurate. At one point, internal documents indicated the government had budged 47,000 death payments while UA casualties were showing 51k dead. That's pretty close. Just like the UA is following Western standards of warfare meticulously but being very careful to be as accurate as possible. Probably better than the USA or UK ever did.

Ukraine side is 20 people with paper cuts. On a serious note, the leaked Pentagon documents have different numbers. One being 16-17.5k RU to 71k UA (1 RU:4 UA ish). Another being 35.5-43k killed and 154k wounded for RU to 15.5-17.5k killed and 110k wounded for UA (2 RU:1 UA).

It's BS numbers and everybody knows it. Zelenskyy is using cannon fodder against overwhelming Russian artillery, but to no avail. According to WaPo of all places Russians have 1:6 advantage in artillery (you can imagine their real advantage). 85% of Ukrainian soldiers are killed even without seeing an enemy. All escape routes from Bakhmut and Avdeevka are under Russian fire control. Zelenskyy again successfully created these slaughterhouses for Ukrainian troops. He is a real butcher for Ukrainian troops. Ukraine already lost most trained and motivated soldiers along with almost all hardware it had before the war plus hundreds of tanks and IFVs it got from Eastern Europe (to understand the scale of losses it had 1 990 tanks, 1 212 IFVs, 1 112 heavy artillery systems, 354 multiple rocket launchers). Its army is a shadow of its former self at the beginning of the war. Mass summary executions for attempted surrender or unauthorized retreat and catching even disabled people in the streets (Zelenskyy officially forced conscripts even disabled) just cause further demoralization and despair.

1) The attacker usually has significantly more losses than the defender. Google "Inner Line" from Clausewitz .
2) The losses become greater for the attacker in relation to the defender, the slower the attacker can only advance. In Bachmut, the Russian army advances extremely slowly.
3) In a destroyed city the attacker has disadvantages again, because he has hardly any cover possibilities. The defender, on the other hand, can use trenches.
The assumption that Ukraine suffers higher losses in Bachmut than the Russian army is considered complete nonsense.
