"If I could only see that familiar sunrise through sleepy eyes how happy I'd be." This song was written by the late great Roy Orbison, but Linda made it hers.
In The summer of 1977 I saw LINDA RONSTADT 5 show in 4 NEW ENGLAND STATES.I went by my Self or with friends I had seen LINDA About 16 times....in 6 USA STATE.
I always loved this song. I love watching you hearing music I've known for so long. It brings a fresh perspective, and we old folks get to enjoy the songs again.
Linda was a world class vocalist/artist of her generation. She truly deserves the title "legend". Sadly, we don't have artists like her anymore here in the States. If you want to hear/see artists like her today, you must go to Asia. Possibly the best vocalist/artist today is: SoHyang from South Korea The 3 Queens from the Philippines has no equal in there generation. Morrisette Amon Katrina Velarde Gigi de Lana (my favorite artist today) Feel free to show some love and reactions to these 4 women. They all have many videos here on UA-cam with legion of fans and followers. Many will follow your channel, I'll bet. Starting with me.
I love your comments and yes, you look like Linda. Live performances to check out are Desperado, When Will I Be Loved, That’ll Be the Day among many others.
Beautiful song.. was introduced to her via a TV show called the Muppets.. also confused her with Princess Leia(Carrie Fisher) and also Stevie Nicks(lead singer of Fleetwood Mac). You need to listen to her rendition of the song 'Desperado' (by the Eagles). An absolute masterpiece.
What an AMAZING voice!!! There's none better. Today instead of really singing it is thought bellowing is pleasant to the ears. It's so sad that her voice is permanently silenced with Parkinson's disease.
Loved your reaction to Blue Bayou by Linda Ronstandt and yes you do look a bit like her but more like Ann Wilson as your very beautiful too, and the instrument you liked is called a steel guitar mostly used in C/W music ❤❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😘😘😘💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💋💋💋💋👄👄
Want get really teary eyed? Try her version of "Crazy". In fact the entire album "Hasten Down The Wind" is amazing, as are all of her works. I've gotta admit the resemblance to both ladies. More of Ann I think. Thank you.❤❤❤❤
Great reaction Ola I don't know if you've heard of the band Eagles maybe you have done some reactions I'm the band I really don't think so I could be wrong. Without Linda Ronstadt they would have never became a band she hired them to go on the road and after about a year they want it to go on their own. She was very gracious about it. She's done so many types of music country rock so many I can go on and on thanks Ola.
She hired Don Henley and Glenn Frey, to be part of her touring band... It's well documented, her and her boyfriend JD Souther, definitely help them put the musicians together after a tour to form Eagles. But they all knew each other before that they were all Los Angeles musicians playing at the troubadour. She was very influential in their start but you can't say that they wouldn't have started if she wasn't involved.
Unfortunately we will never hear Linda again since was diagnosed with a neurological disorder which rendered her unable to speak well. It’s such a tragedy as she was one in a million- at least we still have her legacy on records to enjoy.
Yeah, when that small women's voice explodes, it's hard not to just completely stop breathing. There's a reason she was packing stadiums for a decades.
The captions were butchering the lyrics. Lovely song. I’m pretty certain most of the people watching this already know every word. Nice reaction. No captions next time please. 🌺✌️
Originally written and sang by Roy Orbison in the early 1960's. Linda knew when to pour it on and when to back, stay inside the message and emotion of the song. Others would sing it loud and use all kinds of flourishes and trick just to show off. That's boring as hell to me. Linda coud song any style, check out her history and Grammy Awards. Also I find that "Olavity" look quite a bit like Linda Ronstadt!
Arguably the greatest female singer ever. An amazing voice that could hit any note. Pure talent.

Linda was at her best live.
Incredibly so
Pure, natural talent.
Willie Nelson said there are two types of people in the world……those who are in love with Linda, and those who haven’t met her!
He actually said that about Emmylou Harris but okay.
If this song doesn’t move you then what can I say? It’s 1 of her most beautiful songs ever.
That last note she sang ,did you notice how she turned it into a sort of 3 note yodel ! That's not easy to do ! Beautiful !
Her voice is fire 🔥. I love this Woman ❤ Peace out ✌️ ☮️

I saw her in Boston during that tour 😁. The most beautiful voice on the planet and a really decent human being. 🌸

Linda always one of my favs and again you look so much like her it's amazing. Thanks for this awesome reaction.
Everyone loves Linda! So many genres to choose from.
She was a gift from god
FYI Her name is pronounced "RON-STAT". and you are as lovey a young lady as she is! I really enjoy your reactions, ☺, PJ
Linda did work very hard at her craft as you said AND had incredible natural talent. She is usually even better live.
The best voice and most versatile singer ever
My MoM and Dad loved her, they had all her records and 8 tracks,
I love your comments and yes, you look like Linda. Live performances to check out are Desperado, When Will I Be Loved, That’ll Be the Day among many others.
Check out her Spanish album, the Nelson Riddle standards and her Pirates of the Penzance. I almost forgot her "Trio" series with Dolly and Emmylou.

Gorgeous. I saw and heard her live when she played at Subiaco Oval, Perth Western Australia in the 1980s. I was pretty sweet on her.❤
What an AMAZING voice!!! There's none better. Today instead of really singing it is thought bellowing is pleasant to the ears. It's so sad that her voice is permanently silenced with Parkinson's disease.
The instrument you were enjoying is a double neck pedal steel guitar. The guy playing it is Dan Dugmore, who played on many of Linda's albums.
Amazing.
Down So Low live from Germany 1976 by Linda
A Great Reaction as always

You need to watch her live performance of "Down so Low" 1976 in Germany, her best ever and also her cover of the Eagles
" Desperado".
This was originally a Roy Orbison song, but she made it her own.
If you want to hear her do something completely different, then check her out playing the part of "Mabel" in the light opera "Pirates of Penzance."
Great reaction. This is an awesome performance. ❤
❤
Another beautiful song from the same concert is Desperado .
I just discovered you (what took so long?) and subscribed at once. Your reactions are precious. BTW - I think you look like a young Lovato.
Originally written and recorded by Roy Orbison.
Thank you for this. You should also check out her performance in "Poor Wandering One" from the musical Pirates of Penzance.
I’ve always loved this song 🌹
(You also look like a young Winona Ryder)
She does a couple of Smoky Robinson songs and does them justice, too.
Awesome video.

Definitely Ann

That's a Peddle Steel Guitar. Where were you when I was a young man 😊
You actually look like a cross between Ann Wilson and Linda Ronstadt.
🙌🙌✌✌✌✌👋👋💖💖
Well it's true, you do like Linda.
Do listen to 'Desperado' at the same gig....
Like you Ola,you are so cute 😊😊
You look a bit like her. Good reaction

I think that you resemble Kelly Osbourne and I also really enjoy the channel!
You actually look like her
Roy Orbison song originally.
Hey cutie. Good to see you again. Lara Fabian please
Yeah, when that small women's voice explodes, it's hard not to just completely stop breathing. There's a reason she was packing stadiums for a decades.
Linda does Desparado better than the Eagles. And you and Linda could be sisters. Check out... Bernadette Peters... Carly Simon... Carole King...
The captions were butchering the lyrics. Lovely song. I’m pretty certain most of the people watching this already know every word. Nice reaction. No captions next time please. 🌺✌️
Roy Orbison original.
Ron-stadt. Not Ronson.

There are definitely worse ladies to be compared to than A. Wilson and L. Ronstadt. Were I a lady, I'd be happy too.
Old country.
