When you think about it, Porco truly is a HERO in his comrades' eyes. He's always there for his teammates. He saved Peick, Reiner, Gabi, Falco,... His is what makes him dangerous. He never stops fighting until he can no more. Dude literally get humiliated by Reiner, Eren, Mikasa, Levi,... like countless time but nothing can break his will. Now imagine if he has Armored Titan with his fearless will, he could be on the same level as Eren or full potential Annie I used to hate him a lot due to his non-stop trash talking, but this video changes my mind. He's kinda of Eren, except his titan is weaker and he is not capable to do much. He's just a victim after all. Damn, I'm sad now :(

Porco isn't some deep and complex character like eren neither he is someone with split personalities like reiner but the way he kept fighting even after getting humiliated by eren is worth praising.. The little smirk in the end added a significant amount of emotion to his death.. What an amazing character..
There is nothing "deep and complex" in Erens character, he just act like he is. You will get to understand my words in future, when "no i dont want that" pigeon arc will be released.
@@erenkruger8800 funny enough The author literally had no idea how to write Eren as a character at first, due to he made Eren the complete opposite of who he was as a person, it wasn’t until Yuki Kaiji began voicing Eren where he was finally able to put the pieces together.
Everyone talks about how Porco always gets humiliated and how he disadvantaged he is with his Titan, but everyone forgets that he alone made the Jaw Titan one of the best in series. Porco’s skill as a warrior revealed how deadly the Jaw was as well as how awesome its speed can be. That’s not even getting into how tenacious he is, how he’s willing to learn from his mistakes and work as a team. Eren only Eren only got his hands on him the first time because of Mikasa, who he’d been able to outmaneuver a couple times. And the second time they fought, Eren had the War Hammer’s abilities so nobody was beating him one-on-one. That whole fight was a team effort on Marley’s part. Porco and Reiner weren’t on the best of terms, but they were comrades and Porco knew that. Knew that enough to give his life to save someone else’s brother, someone else’s friend. Porco Galliard is a goat of a supporting character and I’ve loved the dude from the manga till the end of the series. Fucking love AOT.
Me too! I actually enjoyed seeing Porco with His titan. I thought he was really good at it. While Porco still Lost with the Marley Raid fight, He actually Kinda weakened Eren By Scratching the Heck out of Him and he came super Close to Eating Him. Almost every time He's had the Jaw, we always see Him saving someone or Helping out His team. That's why I liked Galliard and I liked seeing His death Just Because he went out with a Smile and Gave up his life for someone else

He is actually the second strongest titan shifter after Eren in fight 1vs1. People forget that in Liberio with more experience and without Mikasa and the scout, Eren loose the 1vs1. Porco was a very good boy, proud and strong with a courageous mind. Good character
I agree, and I think Porco was actually supposed to be the Armored Titan if Marcel haven't talked the military, Porco's skills and abilities are meant for the Armored Titan that's why he has disadvantages with the Jaw. But considering that he can take fully control of the jaw and use it's real abilities like the real speed of the Jaw, which was never seen with Ymir's, he is really amazing.
@@Sanguinnius Eren stopped him with the crystal and Mikasa intervened later and can't say "almost folded Eren in 1v1" since Eren was pretty worn out and he was in his 3rd transformation but yes Porco had the least experience but he still managed to deliver in every battle he was in, He's great but that's just not a fair comparison. What I love about him is he always comes through no matter what and he always tries his best
Porco didn't have the Eldian armband that the marleyans made him wear, instead he had the wings of freedom on his jacket, signifying that he died of free will, meaning he was free.
He’s back! Again, thank you so much for another amazing AoT edit. Porco is such a cool character, don’t see much of him but he connects so many great ties - especially with Reiner. He’s always had that burden of being chosen over Porco, and just when he thought the weight of that burden couldn’t get heavier, Porco gives his life for his own. That “Porco” scream is heartbreaking
I loved Porco in manga since beginning till the end of his life... I remember reading 119 chapter and dying in my tears. This guy had some of the best will and cool energy. He was always there to save and support his comrades. And thanks to Isayama who lets Porco know the truth about his brother. Now Porco can go peacefully. Love him so so much and I’ve always was sad because he don’t fight with his comrades in the final battle

One of the best things that the anime added was that smirk from Galliard at the end *chefs kiss* He arguably has one of the best deaths in this series . What an absolute legend to go out like that Also loved that you put it in the connection that all 3 iterations of the Jaw Titan saved Reiner with Marcel, Ymir & Porco
Porco was smiling in the manga, but it's good the anime made it more noticeable. It all goes by so quickly when its animated. A change in the anime that I love is that you can't see the full damage to his face when he does that walk, instead you see the wings of freedom symbol. Also makes his last shot with the smirk and smoke and lighting more impressive.
Incredible editing. Throughout the series I really found myself disliking Porco, but from this perspective it’s a tragic story of a reliable guy just trying his best for his home and people :(
Loved this character, his screentime was pretty short unfortunately. He really flexed at Reiner till his very last moment, sacrificing himself not for Reiner but to make his brother's sacrifice not be in vain. Absolute CHAD
He fought until the end, although many hate him they have to appreciate that Porco was one of Isayama's best characters and that he didn't appear so much in the series; he deserved better.😞💘
With the time aot showed porco, he definitely wasn’t a bad fighter, it was only his titan’s limitations (and I guess his rash personality) that hold him back
And to think Porco was supposed to be the Armored titan he would have been a excellent choice makes you think what could have been if he was the one in the walls on paradise with Annie and Bertholdt.
I think things might be worse if porco was in the place of Reiner in the paradis mission. Tho his brother would be alive, I think that it won't be enough to stop porco's short temperedness. It's been shown (like a lot) in this final season just how easy it is for porco to loose his shit and start charging head on, also I think that in their time in paradis, them turning into titans (unless it's a must) is not a good option so they would be stuck on odm gear for most of the time. And you know what happens when a short tempered idiot charge head first into battle (hinting at those Cannon fodder characters and Eren himself), so porco would inevitably choose between concealing his identity or transforming to save his ass. Also an important scene where porco might be worse than Reiner is when Reiner is keeping berlot and Eren in his neck while they are constantly getting barraded with words and other shit, I think porco would loose his shit and would either start attacking the group or make a mistake leading to berlot getting killed and Eren being saved, basically fucking the whole mission up. There's a lot of variables, factors, changes etc that obviously plays a big role into wether porco would be worse than Reiner or not, the stuff I said above was just my opinion based on what I know about porco, I might be wrong once those factors and shit starts doing something

Reiner's leadership is why the mission went so badly, because he was never meant to lead, whereas Marcel actually was. In fact, the whole reason they even ended up getting chased down by the scouts with Eren tied up like that is because Reiner lost his cool and exposed himself and transformed, kind of like what you're saying Porco would've done, but this doesn't happen if Marcel is the leader. Porco is hotheaded, but he's not an idiot, so he wouldn't just give his identity up like that.

Porco always managed to come from the deep down and stand once again. If anything *he* was the closest to Eren. He is Worthy to be put on the same level in my eyes.
Most people hate porco and keep calling him an L but still after getting humbled he never loses his will to fight. And if you think of it Eren escaped only because Levi and Mikasa and on the second fight because of the war hammer titan abillities he is a goated side character

Porco was the older/cool guy to the younger candidates and Colt to a certain extent and he gave a shit about every one of them. Reiner wasn’t the only one who wanted to be like Marcel.

He reminds me of old Eren with his sheer determination and will. He always jumped head on in the heat of battles and fought with his all. His story is sad dude. He probably spent years doubting himself but thankfully, he got to know the truth in his last moments. You'll always be remembered, Porco Galliard.
I already miss him so much in the anime. I wanted him and Bertholdt to live. Colt too, who died for nothing. At least longer before their demise. I wanted to see more of the Marley characters and their world.
Porco is always better then reiner he saved reiner many times in war Porco is fearless that he fought with eren knowing that he couldn't defeat eren in one on one fight cause eren has 2 titans (before eating lara tyber)and 3 titans in paradise. Porco galliard is my favourite character in aot .he sacrifice his life for falco he know that he cannot heal him ,he is not a mane character but he is a star to me. when porco and pieke trapped and when they came to fight with eren porco almost kill eren but levi save eren . He is a hero

PS: By the way, if you're open to any more suggestions, I have another idea, though if you take it, I suggest it be after your Johan video, and after the final season of Attack on Titan. Long time ago I saw a fan video whose idea is good, but its execution is fine but could be improved a lot (especially the sound and image, and the spoken dialogue is in English, and not in the original Japanese). It's based on that L's dialogue from the second compilation anime film of the series (Death Note: Relight 2 - L's Successors) where he talks about monsters, and while he speaks, mentioning different types of monsters, several of the greatest anime antagonists and antiheroes appear (Light Yagami, Eren Jaeger, Johan Liebert and Griffith, if I remember correctly). My idea is similar to that approach, but I think other similar dialogues could be added (like the one where Armin talks to Jean in the forest of giant trees, about how those who try to defeat monsters should go so far as to abandon their own humanity to achieve it), and other antagonists and antiheroes could be added, and these would not have to be exclusively from manga and anime (for example, the Joker, Walter White and Keyser Soze come to mind right now). What do you think?
Even though I've always hated Porco, I have to admit this is a really great tribute to him. Even when I'm a huge fan of proud characters like Vegeta, Porco just doesn't sit right with me. He was an arrogant brat that just didn't know how to do much of anything other than fight, and it seemed like he was just around to make Reiner suffer even more.
Porco and his Jaw Titan steal the show in season 4. He is a Hero through and through. He also had no hand in the terrible War Crimes committed against Shiganshina.

Porco always managed to come from the deep down and stand once again. If anything *he* was the closest to Eren. He is Worthy to be put on the same level in my eyes.

Most people hate porco and keep calling him an L but still after getting humbled he never loses his will to fight. And if you think of it Eren escaped only because Levi and Mikasa and on the second fight because of the war hammer titan abillities he is a goated side character

This isnt just any other Badass amvs like others but one which gives some deep emotions towards a character which is often overlooked in aot.
He reminds me of old Eren with his sheer determination and will. He always jumped head on in the heat of battles and fought with his all. His story is sad dude. He probably spent years doubting himself but thankfully, he got to know the truth in his last moments.
You'll always be remembered, Porco Galliard.

I already miss him so much in the anime. I wanted him and Bertholdt to live. Colt too, who died for nothing. At least longer before their demise. I wanted to see more of the Marley characters and their world.
I totally agree, Colt didn’t deserve to die. I wish we saw more of the Warriors, especially Bertholdt.
What I like mostly in aot is that every character has their own story and reasons everyone is important!

Long time ago I saw a fan video whose idea is good, but its execution is fine but could be improved a lot (especially the sound and image, and the spoken dialogue is in English, and not in the original Japanese). It's based on that L's dialogue from the second compilation anime film of the series (Death Note: Relight 2 - L's Successors) where he talks about monsters, and while he speaks, mentioning different types of monsters, several of the greatest anime antagonists and antiheroes appear (Light Yagami, Eren Jaeger, Johan Liebert and Griffith, if I remember correctly).
My idea is similar to that approach, but I think other similar dialogues could be added (like the one where Armin talks to Jean in the forest of giant trees, about how those who try to defeat monsters should go so far as to abandon their own humanity to achieve it), and other antagonists and antiheroes could be added, and these would not have to be exclusively from manga and anime (for example, the Joker, Walter White and Keyser Soze come to mind right now).

Even though I've always hated Porco, I have to admit this is a really great tribute to him. Even when I'm a huge fan of proud characters like Vegeta, Porco just doesn't sit right with me. He was an arrogant brat that just didn't know how to do much of anything other than fight, and it seemed like he was just around to make Reiner suffer even more.

Porco and his Jaw Titan steal the show in season 4. He is a Hero through and through. He also had no hand in the terrible War Crimes committed against Shiganshina.
