Yeah I made it circle back a few times since Reiner is very important to Porco's character. He's carried that grudge for Reiner from when they were kids to the very end since the armor is who he was meant to be. Even though they might have traded a few punches and insults as when they were young, Reiner is just glad to still have someone there after losing almost everyone he's loved so losing another one of his friends (even if Porco hates him) must take a heavy toll.
