My sister is in a private bank at a very high position with a very high salary package. She's always crying about her work pressure! She told me never ever go for private sector. Now i understand it's a problem of all the jobs! No matter it's a private or govt job! We always think life of others is better than us! Grass is always greener at other side! You are right. Grass is always greener for state govt jobs and not for psu/bank jobs.....one of My friend is in state govt.... He says job here is boring but not hectic at all.... Also salary is less compared to psu/bank

I always seen that Banker goes for SSC exams but neven seen any AAO ITI GST insp. Goes for Banking sector ... So final conclusion is SSC jobs are far better than banking jobs... But if you are unemployed then every job is best for you ❤

He has hit target audience. Aspirants usually hear that bank po job is bad. If anyone will say the good side of it, he will definitely gain views. Ssc is far far far better than bank po job. Bank job is such a job that once you get inside the tunnel it will get more dark eventually with years.

Seen both side of table. worked as Banker in SBI and Currently working as AAO. Work pressure in SSC jobs is way less than Banking but career progression in banks is way higher. So it is upto the person what he wants in life. and ultimately happiness lies within one.

Bank jobs are difficult mostly because of sales and targets , bankers don't complain about bank work , they complain about cross sellings , sale of products and targets.
I joined Bank of India as a clerk in Nov 2020 and resigned in Feb 2023. I was posted at a rural location, our branch was severely understaffed, I couldn't cope with the work pressure and the environment. As it was a rural location I had no where to go to relax myself. It was taking a toll on my mental health majorly because of understaff situation. Daily footfall was about 300-400 customers. Aur understaffed hone k wajah se chutti bhi nai milti thi, lagatar ek week chutti lena ya trip pe jane ka to soch bhi nai sakte..it was very frustrating for me. My suggestion would be plz don't go for banking jobs if you want peace in your life..once a manager of SBI told me the same when I told him I am preparing for bank jobs, I wish I would have listened to him then. Also after joining you won't get time to prepare enough to crack other govt exams, agar location achi mil gai to sahi hai, but fir kitne din, har 3 saal me ghumna hi hai..

Ek dost ne data scientist ki job li hai kolkata me, usse ek saturday ko free hai kya pucha to bolta hai 6pm se pehle nikal hi nhi sakte 3. Ek dost bangalore me SDE hai, usko navratri me ghar ane ko nhi mila 4. Mere khud ke papa state ka pg teacher hai, school unka 50km dur hai, subah 9 baje nikal te hai, 6.30 pm ko ghar ate hai 5. Mera ek teacher ko kv me pg teacher mila, unki posting arunachal ke gaon me hai, metro city dur ki bat

I have worked in bank as specialist officer and left in 1.5 years with paying bond. I am currently working in Ministerial type job for more than 4 years and I am quite happy with my current job. Bank job is having most pressure as compared to any kind of Govt job except RBI. Bank has good promotion but remember leaves issues are there in bank. You can’t go for long leaves whereas in SSC type Ministerial job there is flexibility. Bank has more allowance but Ministry has flexibility. There is no target pressure in Ministry. I have known people who have left PO jobs for UDC in their home state
Yess..that's true I have left junior technical assistant in cwc just to join as mts in ordnance factory ..but now I'm storekeeper. It hardly takes 20 minutes to reach home & there is no big issue of taking leaves here, so much flexibility. Sometimes it's not all about salary .

Saari problem ki jaad shaadi hoi hai.... Agar family members kam hoge toh stress bhi kam. Wo zamana gaya jaha kids oldage ka support howa karta tha... Wo zamana gaya jaha wife emotional support aur ghar ka kaam karti thi... Aab toh roz ladai hoti hai aur divorce ka khatra men pe zyada hai alimony dena etc.. Stay single with pets, parents, friends and live stress free life.

Been a PO since 3 years. I got to know what pressure was since 1 year when i started being the loan officer in an urban branch. Today's the last date to apply for promotion for scale-2 manager but I'm not taking the promotion since i have not seen a single senior of mine in bank who was happy with with the workload after the promotion (especially if you become BM/BH after a promotion, then every pressure there could be in a branch, it'll be on your head). In my bank, in my batch, barely 15% are applying for promotion.
Hello sir I joined in sbi as a po in this year on 3rd July. My first post in retail banking completed yesterday and today is first day... Reported in sme branch. I really find it very difficult to stay there. Ppl work there till 9 10 at night. Im very frustrated and felt very sad bez it took me 1.5months of preparation to get into this... But here the entire thing is different. As u said salary wise it is paying good. But we r not in a position to enjoy those allowances/salary. Its been only 5months since i joined But im not satisfied with this work culture.. It feels very bad when i think about my future... Currently im looking into other opportunities other than bank. Ppl usually think that bank mai gyadha salary allowance milta but we they must also think this ... At what price.. We sacrifice our family, mental helath , hobbies,sleep and many more. If any one wants to get into bank join as a clerk and marry clerk staff.. This was my view.. And im not against my job.. But as u said im not loving my job but i do respect it as it gave me the financial independence.

My neighbor friend who recently joined as a T.A(tax assistant) , goes to office around 10am and returns home around 5-6 pm..and neither of them has work pressure at office!! What are talking about !!

What i understood during this transition from an aspirant to a bank employee is we humans are in fact never satisfied first we want a job then we hate that job then we don't want to give sufficient efforts to get out of that job!! I mean come on you have so many problems then leave that job and let the needy one get it..or else take it as a challenge and prepare for a job which you think is suitable and best for you according to your needs , simple isn't it? Bhai your IT friend is overhyping his pressure, my dad retired as a deputy commissioner in income tax, i have seen him go on raids but it was never a week long thing that too for multiple times in a month, hardly 2 days and rarely has it happened that he had to go twice in a month for raids, this is coming from his 34yrs of service and I on the other hand was recruited as a SO in PNB and there is a drastic difference between ssc and banking, in short banking sucks and the hype of unnecessary pressure is real in banking, if one has no other option then he should and must join banking but if one can try for something else, he should. I left my job of pnb and is peacefully settled somewhere else.

My father is an agriculture officer he works for uploading farmers data daily for thousands and thousands of farmers endlessly for various farmers schemes and that too it has a limited time and if in any case if any farmer fails to get the benefits of the schemes which remaining farmers got then not just that farmer but even the political leaders will book you in different ways Too hectic on holidays and Sundays its like my father got some extra time to upload the farmer's data in the portal ALWAYS he talks alone like a mad person saying portal portal so not just bank but every department is having its own pressure
My elder brother is Income tax inspector and he is living the best life. He works honestly for around 8 hours and enjoys rest of time. Not much work pressure and awesome respect everywhere with lots of perks. So, SSC ITI far better then bank jobs.
I typed and given my resignation letter to my manager on last Thursday, brother you should have uploaded this video b4.. I wass extremely frustrated in my job as PO. I was posted in extreme south village, being from Punjab I didn't know anything about this world. Here, survival itself was tough for me, It's been 1.5 yrs . I want to know when there is no incentive for working overtime and there is job security by which they can't throw us out for not working or completing targets then why you fulfill and work for those targets. Excellent video. Well done. I joined as a Canara PO 2 years ago. My current salary after JAIIB CAIIB is 74K Gross. (This is excluding all the other allowances & 12th bipartite settlement is yet to settle😉) Many of my batchmates are frustrated and want to leave the bank. I am going to share this video with them. Salary wise this is one of the best jobs you can get but RBI is my dream and I will be preparing for the same till my age permits.
Its just about how u cope up wd n wt u expect from ur job n wt u get in return....at last every job has its own pros n cons...apni job kisi ko achi nhi lagti...hr koi pareshan h bs logo ne khush rhna seekh liy h.. Also being employed is much-10000 better than jobless....
Work pressure is present in all kind of jobs some low some high, here just we need to be smart while choosing specific job & therefore working with it thereafter, means we need to be mindful about how it's gonna effect our overall life either good or bad & proceed thereafter ! 👍
My brothers and sisters, if you are confused what to choose for your career. There is only one way- choose clerical in bank or SSC and never BANK PO. The problem in banking in not how late and how much work you have to do because even other jobs have lots of work to do, but the main issue is the target and the pressure to meet the target from the higher up (bankers in PSBs are treated as private employees but with lesser pay.) Just personal experience.

If we talk about work life balance then IT me 2-3 saal kaam karne ke baad thik thak knowledge ho jayegi toh work life balance mil jata hai, kyuki job chorke dusri jagah ja sakte ho acche project me, but continuously sikhte rehna padta hai puri life. Bank PO me work life balance toh rahegi nhi bilkul bhi but jyada sikhne ka tention nhi rahega. The only banking jobs I have seen people most suffering from are Probationary Officers. I am not sure but ho sakta hai RBI me waisa work culture na rahe, toh depending on how you perform in competitive exams, soch sakte ho RBI ka bhi. As a IT engineer I can say that I am having really best of best 1. When I see very good salary in my account 2. Working from home , village, mountains etc etc. 3. On daily basis facing new challenges and daily is new learning day 4. Getting Sodexo 2k for food, internet bill reimbursement, if I travel that is also reimbursed 5. In my 30’s already have 2 house one car etc. 6. Working hours are bit longer but I enjoy a lot as working from home from last 4 years 7. Ai is coming no problem already learning and working on it to use in my project 8 . Already made side income 9. Everything is good and if I save enough money and able to find right team will do my startup And finally I am happy with my job and continue to do till my last breath of my life…
Private jobs me job security ka issue tab hota hai when you are unskilled, else kaam achaa hai, work life balance hai, aur saare benefits and allowance b + i am working from home tho family k sath rahti hu. Also, to enter in IT you need to work on any skills and within 6months you will get job

Since i am working with NBFC from last 2.5 years and things not going my way. I dont know why and how youtube suddenly suggest me this video when i am depressed since yesterday and thinking about to resign from my job. I totally agree with all the bankers this industry only meant for targets and cross selling of products no matter how efficiently you deliver your routine works if you are not selling other financial products and not achieving your targets then you are nothing. There is no fame no recognition and no work life balance. This industry is totally a shit and worst.
You never ever get your home posting in SSC unless you are extremely talented and get High rank. And banking services after 5-6 years you will get your posting near around Home. Salary package became equal after 4-5 years. You live life to the fullest in banking sector. Because my father and my brother is in bank and they looks satisfied with their job and live their life to the fullest.

I joined Bank of India as a clerk in Nov 2020 and resigned in Feb 2023. I was posted at a rural location, our branch was severely understaffed, I couldn't cope with the work pressure and the environment. As it was a rural location I had no where to go to relax myself. It was taking a toll on my mental health majorly because of understaff situation. Daily footfall was about 300-400 customers.
Aur understaffed hone k wajah se chutti bhi nai milti thi, lagatar ek week chutti lena ya trip pe jane ka to soch bhi nai sakte..it was very frustrating for me.
My suggestion would be plz don't go for banking jobs if you want peace in your life..once a manager of SBI told me the same when I told him I am preparing for bank jobs, I wish I would have listened to him then.
Also after joining you won't get time to prepare enough to crack other govt exams, agar location achi mil gai to sahi hai, but fir kitne din, har 3 saal me ghumna hi hai..

I have worked in bank as specialist officer and left in 1.5 years with paying bond. I am currently working in Ministerial type job for more than 4 years and I am quite happy with my current job. Bank job is having most pressure as compared to any kind of Govt job except RBI. Bank has good promotion but remember leaves issues are there in bank. You can’t go for long leaves whereas in SSC type Ministerial job there is flexibility. Bank has more allowance but Ministry has flexibility. There is no target pressure in Ministry. I have known people who have left PO jobs for UDC in their home state

Been a PO since 3 years. I got to know what pressure was since 1 year when i started being the loan officer in an urban branch. Today's the last date to apply for promotion for scale-2 manager but I'm not taking the promotion since i have not seen a single senior of mine in bank who was happy with with the workload after the promotion (especially if you become BM/BH after a promotion, then every pressure there could be in a branch, it'll be on your head). In my bank, in my batch, barely 15% are applying for promotion.

I really find it very difficult to stay there. Ppl work there till 9 10 at night.

As u said salary wise it is paying good.

I mean come on you have so many problems then leave that job and let the needy one get it..or else take it as a challenge and prepare for a job which you think is suitable and best for you according to your needs , simple isn't it? Bhai your IT friend is overhyping his pressure, my dad retired as a deputy commissioner in income tax, i have seen him go on raids but it was never a week long thing that too for multiple times in a month, hardly 2 days and rarely has it happened that he had to go twice in a month for raids, this is coming from his 34yrs of service and I on the other hand was recruited as a SO in PNB and there is a drastic difference between ssc and banking, in short banking sucks and the hype of unnecessary pressure is real in banking, if one has no other option then he should and must join banking but if one can try for something else, he should. I left my job of pnb and is peacefully settled somewhere else.

My father is an agriculture officer he works for uploading farmers data daily for thousands and thousands of farmers endlessly for various farmers schemes and that too it has a limited time and if in any case if any farmer fails to get the benefits of the schemes which remaining farmers got then not just that farmer but even the political leaders will book you in different ways

Here, survival itself was tough for me, It's been 1.5 yrs . And on Thursday I just bent my knees and handed over my resignation letter. I do not have any job at hand currently. I want to know when there is no incentive for working overtime and there is job security by which they can't throw us out for not working or completing targets then why you fulfill and work for those targets. Can we just work at our own speed in the bank as PO? And have a befikari attitude.
Not in any situation bank jobs is better than SSC.....never ever.....do not mislead... I am myself selected in SSC...

Many of my batchmates are frustrated and want to leave the bank. I am going to share this video with them.

My brothers and sisters, if you are confused what to choose for your career. There is only one way- choose clerical in bank or SSC and never BANK PO. The problem in banking in not how late and how much work you have to do because even other jobs have lots of work to do, but the main issue is the target and the pressure to meet the target from the higher up (bankers in PSBs are treated as private employees but with lesser pay.) Just personal experience.

If we talk about work life balance then IT me 2-3 saal kaam karne ke baad thik thak knowledge ho jayegi toh work life balance mil jata hai, kyuki job chorke dusri jagah ja sakte ho acche project me, but continuously sikhte rehna padta hai puri life. Bank PO me work life balance toh rahegi nhi bilkul bhi but jyada sikhne ka tention nhi rahega. Ab ap dekho stability kitna matter karta hai apke liye, bht matter karta hai and apko lagta hai ki maths etc me speed acchi hai apki, toh definitely bank PO ke liye try kar sakte ho aap. But ek timeline leke chalo 2 years ka. Usme nahi hua toh fir aur kuch sochna.

The only banking jobs I have seen people most suffering from are Probationary Officers. I am not sure but ho sakta hai RBI me waisa work culture na rahe, toh depending on how you perform in competitive exams, soch sakte ho RBI ka bhi. As a IT engineer I can say that I am having really best of best
1. When I see very good salary in my account
2. Working from home , village, mountains etc etc.
3. On daily basis facing new challenges and daily is new learning day
4. Getting Sodexo 2k for food, internet bill reimbursement, if I travel that is also reimbursed
5. In my 30’s already have 2 house one car etc.
6. Working hours are bit longer but I enjoy a lot as working from home from last 4 years
7. Ai is coming no problem already learning and working on it to use in my project
8 . Already made side income
9. Everything is good and if I save enough money and able to find right team will do my startup
And finally I am happy with my job and continue to do till my last breath of my life…
