Not really, you need to be able to balance both. What good is being amazing at a game if it's dead-on launch. That's why separate modes should be included to at least levitate the skill floor and skill gap for casual and com players
Class shooter isn't really where I was hoping it would go with the sequel, I feel like a lot of what was wrong with the original game was just how limited the gear you used was. adding grenades and other equipment is really cool and largely addresses the issues that made the original sort of get dull after a bit, but the class system makes me less interested in the game just because it seems like a bit of an over step personally, but that's just my preference, I'm sure a lot of people will actually enjoy that aspect. The cosmetic thing is an issue I hadn't fully considered either, as the first was loaded with them, and I'm sure that it's a big way they are hoping to monetize. The thing I have seen people talk about the most is the insaaaane portal usage that can occur, and I firmly believe that it's true that if the game launches with that kind of acoustic level of play, you will see the casual audience drop it fairly quickly, and I think half the draw of the game for most people really is the sorta goofy fun of it, and I can totally respect if they wanna go hardcore competitive with it, but the audience margin will narrow. Although it may still just happen anyway as the skill ceiling rises over time naturally. Sort of the R6 siege effect, which will somewhat lock new players out of the game on a level after a certain point. Still am fascinated though, and I wanna like the game. I just feel like it maaaay not quite be my thing.
the entire reason they did this is when splitgate 1 came out they were a tiny studio and they didn't make the game scalable. Now they're a large studio so they had to re-make the game from scratch to be able to scale the game with more content etc.
What do you think? Does the game have potential or will the game flop?

game has potential but modern gamers are tiktok brainrotted with zero attention span
Trueeeee 😂 @@doppelgutz1709
I remember trying out the original Splitgate!

i dont think the devs know how to make a game that lasts
Can't wait for the streaming marathon for this one smile
5:11 competitive is necessary for game's survival what do you mean???

Re-upload I see. Hope this time it hits the algorithm!
Such a good video
When does it come out
Sometime 2025!
everyone is a hater nowadays. Being hyped/excited for a game is illegal in this gaming world
good stuff
I tried out the demo and I thought it was dookie imo
I hear NOBODY talking about this game dude. this game's dead on arrival tbh.
Well nobody talked about the original either at first. It had a pretty slow roll out, and then just caught on hard all the sudden if I remember right.
Wtf is this really how they already gave up on the first one lol
I feel like this is a way for them to move up to the newest console its a shame
