We have an older Eagle HT with this bathroom floor plan and love it as a couple's camper. The shower is plenty big and does was it is designed to do. The thing we love is the room you get with the bath/bedroom slide. We are both able to change in that space without tripping over the bed. This floor plan might seem different but it is very usable.
We have a 2023 30.5 CKTS, the previous version of this model. We love it. One of our favorite things is the walk through bathroom so I am glad to see they didn’t change that! For all of the people saying they don’t like a radius shower, have you ever tried one? I thought that I wouldn’t like it either but we have no issue with it. There is plenty of room. I am glad they changed the kitchen sink to one big opening. We love all of the camp side windows in ours! I actually like my kitchen better with the 3 pantries. We use the one by the door for a coat and catch all closet. They also lost the shoe corral in the new version.
Josh , I wish we could get back the Jayco Designer We bought a 1998 from Bishes in IF, and absolutely loved it. No issues what’s so ever. Bought a cabin in island Park so we sold the RV. Now we are considering the Z2900. Thanks Josh
Get rid of that 2nd opening in the bathroom and give us a real 5th wheel shower. I don't know why they can't move the stove forward in the lue of floor flush slides
This one had me excited … until I seen that shower. Then the lack of w/d prep. But LOVE the white cabinets and lighter aesthetics of the kitchen area, A+. The one thing I like about Matt’s RV reviews is … he always mentions the MSRP - just so we have a ball park of it. Your personality is the best though. 👍🏻
Lots of natural light in the kitchen/living room area! Great kitchen counter space for sure. Love the fact the microwave is not above stove so two people are not on top of one another when using each at same time. Small shower for sure! Love the windshield in the cap. The standup full-length closet is genius! I think they should have stuck with the butcher block counter tops for the kitchen too like in the BR and bath. Glad you are realistic on towing recommendation. You are right.......some sales folks will right out put you and others on the road at risk because they know you are utilizing a 150/1500 series truck! Built-in basement water filters are primo so you don't have to use the outside in-line ones. And finally.......GY tires from the factory! Nice Fiver!
For me, the whole idea of a 5th wheel is a ginormous bathroom. That isn't happening here. And for what they want for this, I would expect cabinets that hold themselves open. Other than that, very nice unit. Good job, Josh.
I really think that this is the one. It's up to the misses. The Thermofoil counter tops are a letdown. Lower outlets for vertically challenged people would be good. Love the whole" road mode demos".
Down with the Frankenbech, bring back the Judi Dench Benchybench! We feel you on the loss of your favorite things as soon as you discover them, they discontinued the Reflection 341RDS shortly after we fell in love with it. The other half says that the outlets on the kitchen bar area do need to be lower. We're not fans of radius showers or dual entry bathrooms, but they don't seem too horrible on this one. The silent film part of the review was rather amusing, though not as informative as the rest of it. It sounds like your English teachers taught you so good too. You learned more better than I did. Thanks for the review Uncle Josh! P.S. it wasn't us who food poisoned you, so we're not being cut out of the will, right?
A couple of misses, cabinets above the stove should pivot left or right rather than up and down. Put a slide pullout under the sink for the trash. I agree, no one likes a radius shower. It wouldn't take much to correct the shower problem, move the pantry and hanging closet north or reduce a bit in size. As for the mattress it will be replace anyway but it is to wide for the area it is in.
I've been building my list of possible "5th Wheel Couples Campers" for my wife and I to consider after next year's camping season. This one will not be on it. I could probably get past the toe stubber slide with the cooktop and oven inside, but that bathroom just makes me shake my head. There are so many other campers out there with a floor flush slide in the kitchen and a nice bathroom around that price point that this model just reads as a big missed opportunity from Jayco.
Josh! I’m a huge fan! We are actually currently torn between a Jayco Eagle mid bunk fifth wheel and the Cedar Creek back bunkhouse fifth wheel. Do you have any videos comparing jayco to cedar creek? I couldn’t find them on my search!
Hey! I watch your videos all the time and love all of the detail and information you put into all of it! Can you do a video on a 2025 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 321 BDS? We’re looking to buy soon and would love for you to do a review! Thank you in advance sir!
Can you do a video on the Palomino Columbus or Palomino River Ranch? It’s another Forest River brand and think these are very nice on the inside. I really love the HUGE camp-side windows plus all the storage. I have a ‘22 Columbus 299RL which no longer made but find the 380RL comparable
You didn't open the large bathroom cabinet... beds should always pop up at the head for watching a TV. All trailers 25 ft or more should have a washer/dryer cubby outside.
This unit checked so many boxes, until you mentioned the teleporter shower!!! Why do these still exist? 😖 Thanks for sharing this fifth wheel... Jayco, stop it, get rid of that ugly, dated shower!
I’d like to see that option too, but remember these are 50 Amp service with 2 AC units (means try to cook without being connected to power, you risk blowing a fuse). If you want to be able to cook without connecting to power, you’re gonna need a serious investment in batteries and maybe solar.

Great job Josh as always yes we love hearing about the slides. We love when you talk about everything. Keep it up.
will do!
The shower is kind of a letdown
Like it. Love the huge living room. The door side windows are great. Love the colors. The bathroom is good. Love the wind shled. Love it. Thank you!

Perfect residential floorplan as equipped👍minus the tiny elbow banging shower😩
Outlets need to be lower. Most small appliances don't ce with cords long enough to reach those under cabinet outlets.

Thanks Uncle Josh 👍
Thank You!
Thanks again for real views, my big think is quality construction. All of my past RVs have suffered. So I may be leaving the RVs.
I’m with you Josh, I like this! Thank you Josh!
Nice floor plan!
Down there for sure. ❤"symetricized"

Yes outlets down below. Then that counter would be as your fellow UA-cam friend JD on BTBRV would say “a perfect place for a coffee maker.”😂
Thanks Josh! No on the corner shower! Deal breaker for me!
ty.. try this one perhaps ua-cam.com/video/Ja9eQMri-jY/v-deo.html
Or this one if you prefer a higher level of amenities ua-cam.com/video/JkOrP18MoBw/v-deo.html
What a waste to have two bathroom doors!🤷🏻♀️ larger shower please🙏🏻

Loved it until we got to the bathroom. 🤮
Love that you detailed the slide systems also, since I am very apprehensive of the swingtec slide systems.

Bathroom could be better. Love the rest of the RV. In addition to the fridge the microwave is also travel accessible.
But what if I like floor vents? It gives me an easy peazy place to sweep dust and dog hair into! 😊

Like the floor plan, but not the radiused shower with low ceiling height. Don’t like the high-mounted microwave for my 5’-1” missus.
good video Josh
Good To H.E.B. Gocery

I’ll watch for one

Not something we carry so I am not likely to go thru it
I know their ins and outs. I like some of the stuff they do

No Celling Fan we need.
Is it possible to put a second awning on this fifth-wheel?
It is not. They either have it or they dont. There's no place in the walls to mount an add'l awning nor wiring set for it
This unit checked so many boxes, until you mentioned the teleporter shower!!! Why do these still exist? 😖 Thanks for sharing this fifth wheel... Jayco, stop it, get rid of that ugly, dated shower!
Instead of Propane/ Gas Can I get Electric stoves & Electric oven.
I’d like to see that option too, but remember these are 50 Amp service with 2 AC units (means try to cook without being connected to power, you risk blowing a fuse). If you want to be able to cook without connecting to power, you’re gonna need a serious investment in batteries and maybe solar.
Only available as shown
Please compare to Grand Design Reflection 303RLS.
Why aren’t there any electric outlets in the kitchen other than on the side of the island, where the sink/water is?
There are a few that aren’t easily spotted on camera
Shower is big time deal breaker. 6'1" here and I have to be able to stand comfortably due to some spinal things. And 6'1" isn't really that tall.
Good Job Josh No Thk U.
I was really interested until you showed the shower 💀 what a big bummer. I won't ever get a unit with a radius shower.
The kureig coffe maker cord won’t reach, for the price the recliners are manual?!, Barbie oven? Nana likes to cook! Shower is smallish
what does CRT stand for?
I really dont know. MFG just throw numbers at the wall sometimes
No Celling Fan we need I Hate those circles Showers.
That bed is made for Skinny husband & wife.
There is what appears to be carpet under the cabinets in the bathroom and the bedroom. No carpet at all. Just ....no.
It's just not where you walk.
