Having my coffee at 4:44 am in the States, watching an Aussie channel visiting Poland. I feel like I need my passport.
coffee at 11:35 in the uk!
Amen !
😂👍🏻
Beau is like a kid in a candy store 😀
I was just about to write the same thing. It looks like he has $50 in his pocket as well.
It would be great to know even a little about some of the other vehicles in the yard. For that matter how they found quite so much after so long.
My thought exactly.👍
@@johnsherborne3245in Poland its quite normal thing. Lots of opetations during ww2 was launched on the terrain of our present country.
Th3 look if envy on Beau's face is absolutely priceless! Can't wait for another episode of this guys! The manufacturing of the gears that you had made by these guys looks awesome I want to see some of the machining process.
Must be a site to see. Can imagine Beau saying “I’ve just finished meticulously building one of these from scratch and they’ve just got three of them sitting on the ground outside”.
Sdkfz 250 in original paint?! wow! 😮
The only one in thecworld :)
One very careless driver. As for frozen in time,, in this case literally
In our garden in Estonia we have a huge cast iron German Army field cooking pot. It somehow survived post war metal collections as it was used for watering the cows 😃😮
If you are in Europe, I strongly hope, you took the chance and - not so far away from Panzerfarm - to visit DPM - German Panzer Museum - as well...
450 miles (725km) not so far based on Aussie geography but still a distance to get there. Went there a couple of times in the early '80s - Jagdpanther with collapsed suspension was the highlight for me even then. Would love to have a return visit.
Loved visiting it back in 2007
Far out! Beau was like a dog with two tails and Kurt wasn't far behind either. Great stuff, guys!👍😎 Roll on the next episode...
i cant believe you got to go to Poland , they are wonderfully kind people , i have met many and their sense of humor is so close to ours , lovely people 🤗
Yes we are 😊
But don’t mess with them.
"They got everything we need" with evil laughter 😁😁😁
Panzer Farm is one of the few little tank gems in the world. Amazing place.
Thank you for doing a series on Panzerfarm. I'm super excited to see what they can engineer from scratch for the German WW2 tank mechanicals.
Ich hoffe wen sie schon in Europa sind das sie auch mal nach munster ins Panzer Museum fahren .
literally your 1:1 leftover parts from your Academy panzer kit
This much stuff! I would take ages to see and touch these artefacts. Thanks for this video, and to our Polish friends for preserving history! Greetings from Germany!
The Way America is declining I would like to move to Poland.. They protect their borders from invaders.....
@@ricksmith4736ya had to throw politics into something beautiful.
@@markmessner4554 YEP, I sat quiet for over 60 years thinking our leaders were taking care of us and boy , was I wrong... Now its probably too late..
@@ricksmith4736 sad
@@markmessner4554 Sad about what has happened to our world? Or sad when you look in a mirror? Do you see a SIMP?
First Video of the day, and you have most of my wows used up! Greedy, but we'll deserved 😮😮😮😮
Yeah, that’s pretty cool I guess..😉
Aussies in Poland learn one word, “beer” 🤣
Wow. It is only 20 minutes drive from my dad's house. Welcome to Poland. You should visit us during the summer....
Chłopaki z Panzer Farm są super. Jak u nich byliśmy oprowadzili nas po wszystkich zakamarkach i ich całym niesamowitym parku maszynowym.
i remember the video of the 250 being pulled from the river. much respect to panzerfarm for preserving the original paint and getting it running! bravo guys!
Good to see you guys on a jolly... I mean important research mission... (Piwo!!!)🤣
It must have been hard for you guys driving on the RIGHT side of the road. 😄
Yes, when they're used to driving on the CORRECT side!
@@IntrospectorGeneral Do you do the Vulcan salute with your left hand or your right? . . . . . . . . I rest my case.
is that the first time Beau has had to wear a jumper ? well done waiting for more
Well in Poland is no 6 deg C not 26C like in Australia :D
I can't believe the state of that! And to think there is an JS-2 tank that runs and looks absolutely immaculate on the inside is an absolute dream come true, I hope to see that one day! Never seen one before.
Welcome in Poland ;)
Late tonight Kirt!😅 Thats ok!🇦🇺👍
I also recommend visiting the Panzer Museum in Kłanino in Poland
Dear Guys,
Didn’t know you have people in your staff with a German name (Kurt) and with a French name (Beau) but I realize that the population of Australia is a melting pot of people from around the world. There are also living a lot of people with Dutch routes. A great part of my wife’s family is living in Geelong and in Melbourne. The visit of your 2 staff members to the Panzer Farm in Poland must have been quite impressive for them and I was very surprised how the crew of the farm has realized some well done restoration. Look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
That came out of left field, very enjoyable
Ah ten polski angielski muzyka dla uszu. Pozdrowienia z Polski
Chłopaki z Panzer Farm są super. Jak u nich byliśmy oprowadzili nas po wszystkich zakamarkach i ich całym niesamowitym parku maszynowym.
I live 50 km from there and have been there several times. Great guys.
Hi, do you know if they also sell items? In which town are they situated? Regards from the Ardennes Offensive area, Belgium
@@gerhard6105 From what I know, they rather replace original parts. For sale, they mainly produce e.g. suspension and drive components for Pz III, Pz IV, StuG, etc. Their facility is in former military base near the village of Chrcynno near the town of Nasielsk, 50 km from Warsaw. Google Panzer Farm for contact data.
It’s amazing how much material has still survived
Beau says, "What's next?" Yea man, I wanna know too. GREAT video!
Beau : " I want this for Chrisrmas !!!"🤣🤣🤣 Awesome !!!
I'd love to have seen Daz there too, clambering all over the mountains of parts with uncontrollable excitement ...... but it was probably a good idea to leave him back home or you'd be lucky to have him back by this time next year lol
A pile of StuG Saukopf mantlets hanging around, a running IS2 in the back shed...looks like heaven.
WOW & OMG, what an episode, I am fairly sure I will struggle waiting for next week's episode. Cheers
A dream come true for The Roo Crew🦘
Holy smokes, who knew your job would take you around the world. On the next trip I can be your PA. Carry the bags etc. 😂
If you are curious what the plaquard reads, here is a translation to the german plaquard at 13:46 : "The track tension has to be set in a way that the upper track is resting on the middle running wheels but at the same time managing to not touching the first running wheel anymore!" (Die Kette ist so anzuspannen, daß der obere Kettenstrang auf den mittleren Laufrädern aufliegt, jedoch das erste Laufrad nicht mehr berührt!
5:29 can we appreciate the tank/tow truck/snow plow build sitting in the background. When you have enough parts sitting around… 😂
Yeah. Reckon yous earnt those piwos
It's cool that Panzer Farm has easy access to all these relics. They're picking complete vehicles out of rivers. Just remember though what Poland went through during the war that made the easy pickings now possible.
So funny to see people nerding out over these things. Warms my heart. And to see Beau's knowledge on display - looks at a random piece of steel, knows which part of which tank it is, coz he just made one himself.. Late G, not late-late G, just late G.
Brilliant stuff. Thanks guys. Hope to meet you at AusArmour in December when I visit.
I'm one and half minutes in and I am drooling!!!!
Did the same 😅😅
I've been following along for over a year now with the various restorations and loving every minute. Why am I just now learning that our faithful host is named Kurt and not Cōd (short form of Cody?) I'm usually really good understanding accents, but my dumb brain got it wrong this whole time. That said, at the closing of this video, I very clearly heard him say "Until then, I'm Kurt from Aus Armor" Just the same, what an opportunity to connect with these guys, right where it all happened. I have a feeling after things resolve in Ukraine, there will be tons more tanks available.
I was a bit disappointed that there was no real workshop episode fixing the tanks, but was I wrong!! Amazing this episode! Well done!
that panzerfarm place is amazing that IS2 is badass
Unreal! So many fantastic bits! One of the strange things about building scale models is you can recognise individual parts easily because you're used to seeing vehicles in bits lol. They've got sooo much good stuff there and the restoration of the Sdkfz 250 is amazing. I remember seeing the recovery of that as a news item years ago. Great to see it up and running. I would imagine Beau didn't know where to look there's so much cool stuff for a hundred and one restorations!
I am Polish, Greetings from Poland, guys! :D
This was a brilliant episode!
That Beau is in ecstasy .look at that big smile on his face . Like a little boy with new toys enjoy your time there
Pozdrawiam miłośników broni pancernej z Australii
Dobry dzień, kolego. Jestem podekscytowany obejrzeniem tej serii o renowacji polskiej zbroi i może pewnego dnia przyjadę ją odwiedzić. Dzięki
You're heartily welcome in PL! Have a lovely time!
8:40 well the germans had a saying; "t34 always tips his hat to mr tiger."
I like the excited laughing.Well done.Great Video.
Großartige Leute und der IS 2 ist mein Favorit unter den WW II Panzern.Ich saß schon in einem drin.
Blown away by your content yet again, how good
Thank you so much for posting awesome tour of Panzer Farm !. As one of a collector of German Panzer parts, I would love to walk around the treasure stock yard !.😁
Can't wait to watch part 2 of this journey !.😄
I have been waiting all day for your workshop Wednesday video and that was so cool thank you for sharing it with us
"Very cool! What's next?" Perfect ending!
Big Toys for Big Boys, Thanks for sharing.
What fantastic hosts. Brothers across the pond.
This is Eastern Front Tank Parts. These seem very nice and switched on guys. Have they got a Maybach for you?
Defenitly need more of this. And you need 2 or 3 tons of Stug parts.
Unfortunately, Panzer Farm doesn't have a Maybach, they are rebuilding the Tiger themselves, but they are going to use a different (modern) engine.
This is like having modelling parts for 1:1 scale
Bring it on can't wait for next week's episode
Beau's smile when the JS2 started up is priceless.
Wow, awesome post, thanks!!
Like the Victoria visit .... Just load up the semis....??? If only!
New variant: SdKfz 250/K9. Kit coming soon from Takom. 🤣
A JS2! That runs like that. Utterly spectacular! TY
Well done crew the knowledge of different parts is amazing, wonderful to see the stock that panzer farm has , looking forward to next week.
Tank heaven 👍 amazing place and I’d listen and watch for hours
Wow, amazing!
that IS-2 looks like an angry tiger tank
It used to eat Tigers for dinner when was young.
Brilliant idea. You found an ''Aladdin's Cave'' of parts. I could spend all day there and totally forget about being hungry, hahaha!
Kurt, this idea provides a lot more interest for your channel.
Thanks for giving us all a chance to see this as Poland was where a lot of the fighting was and will be full of old WW2 relics and equipment. There are a couple of channels on this platform showing the sheer amount of amazing stuff that is found in the rivers and forests. Especially in the marshes and bogs where the state of preservation is unbelievable. 🙂
p.s. Anyone who wants a link to these (Russian) sites let me know.
This channel just keeps getting better and better and better... You guys deserve many many more followers and views...
dziękuję, polscy przyjaciele!
When you see how much they have, after nearly eighty years of recoveries, salvage and scrapping, you get a sense of how much materiel was used by the opposing sides…
Its wonderful! 😇
Wow!!! What a start to such a Videoseries. Like it
Amazing.
Absolutely amazing!
What a special trip😍🤠
Thanks for bringing us along
All this is very personal for the Polish people. they had the Germans first and then the Russians neither doing the Poles any favours.
Huge respect for those people.
Getting to visit Poland, what a privilege! I was in Melbourne on the weekend and there was a Polish festival on in Federation Square. Very good pelmeni, I hope you tried some when you were there. Hopefully the guys from Panzer Farm can come visit Australia.
Pierogies are hardly a Polish thing, they are all over the wolrd.
If you want traditional Polish food, you need to have wild hog, duck, lots of game animals etc.
I can't help finding "Getting to visit Poland, what a privilege!" very sarcastic
@@laurisikio I think if you're a history/military nerd like most of us watching this channel, visiting Poland would be really exciting - plus everywhere in Europe is exotic to us Aussies, haha.
@@tdb7992 so you're saying that Poland is like a museum
I have never in my life been so happy to be in an armor junkyard. And by that I mean, I didn't know there was an armor junkyard. This is awesome, I could spend days just looking at things and holding engineers drawings up to them. Best. Rust. Ever.
WOW 🤩! That half track is a time capsule. Outstanding! Aus armor thank you gentlemen for sharing this. I’m US Navy Vietnam era veteran and my dad was US Army AAA (anti aircraft artillery) he served in the Pacific. I’ve had a life long fascination with history and military related history and the equipment of WWII especially aircraft.Best wishes for continued success to AusArmor. Stay safe and healthy gentlemen. God bless you. 🫡🇺🇸⚓️
brilliant ,,, would love to get some of the old plans and recreate them using cad
That 250 restoration is beyond belief. I'd like to see OzArmour learn and use that technique on the rustoration Grant
I love workshop Wednesdays! Your enthusiasm is infectious!
I’ve been to Australia 4 times. Got infected 4 times. Very dirty.
A wonderful resource for the Australia Tank museum! Good heavens!
This is amazing!!! It fills me with so much joy to know that the number of rare tanks like these being restored in working order for people to see is going up!!
Fantastic tanks!!!!
Wonder what happened to the Pioneer version of the half-track?
Fantastic!
That IS-2 is just gargantuan...
Up close you can see how rough the elements were cut and welded.
Hey AusArmour. Love your work 👍
I can't believe the guys were really visiting my country! Superb episode.
That half track preservation is absolute class, what a bunch to have as friends!
Incredible episode! Thank you!!!
Bloody awesome !!! What an exciting experience to see the great collection that they have accumulated and the restorations that they have tirelessly brought back to life. This is a series that I will replay time and time again , thank you so very much for sharing this wonderful vlog
I’d like to request a full hour special on the trip to Poland.
