M8 in Canada 🇨🇦 and Alaska beaver 🦫 tail stew is a staple diet . I'm glad to see that you took the time to inform other viewers about another hidden treat from a beaver. Keep up the good work. God bless y'all.
Hey Gus!!! Thank you so much brother!! Oh man beaver tail stew sounds phenomenal!!! I'm definitely going to try other recipes with it! Thank you for watching and thanks for the kind words🙌
I recall tales of my Great Grandfather, a Trapper Hunter Fisherman & Guide in Mouillee Swamp Raisin River area, eagerly frying Beaver Tails...along with deer, muskrat, ducks & Geese and any fish that could be hooked or netted. Myself I am looking to try some myself. I have read that some would simply bake beaver tail skin on. It was remarked that the fat was prized winter food. You are sounding healthy. Best
Thanks Tom!!! Its definitely delicious and I highly recommend trying it. I seen Steve rinella cooked his tail whole over a fire. I'll try that one day. I'm definitely feeling better today. This video was actually filmed last week though lol
So the ol timers tell me that beaver tail taste pretty good, and ofcourse I believe them because they have taught me so much in my life. Sometimes its hard to believe the ol timers, but they don't usually shoot around the bush, they will tell ya straight up about stuff. Well anyways, looks like it turned out good and I enjoyed the informative hands on video! Much love bud
I was shocked I didnt get any greasy taste from it. I really thought it was going to be greasy but it was excellent. Might have been because I stripped it into the smaller pieces too, let's the grease cook out of it. I'm definitely feeling better today, might go live this evening
Thanks! Yeah everyone has their own taste of music, I liked that it all had Christmas beats that's why I used it. I personally listen to everything but polka though lol
😂😂 oh she definitely was, She has a new sneaky way to get up and beg where she puts her face on the side of my arm chair from the back lol. She definitely loved it too
@@LTOutdoors15 sounds a little like my dog. He knows I don't like him watching me eat so he acts like he's looking away but watches out of the corner of his eye. Its so funny to watch a smart dog play dumb🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey LT I’m moving to Tawas, Michigan from sunny Fort Myers, Florida in March. I’m a big outdoor guy and I love fishing, hunting, and I want to learn trapping. I was wondering if we could get in touch and you could show me some stuff. Teach me how to fish Michigan, Hunt and trap.
Hey Jared!!! I could definitely help you out brother. Alot of my videos are in the area up here so theyll help you find fishing spots and I'm always happy to teach anything I can🙌🎣
@@LTOutdoors15 no problem and thank you we got the lures you sent but my mom dose and I'd anyone ever talks to her it won't be long till you figure it out. Im not really into fishing I like mushroom hunting tho
Not a fan of fat but I can see where it would be good to people who like fat. I like my bacon crispy, my Granddaughter likes bacon rubbery!? Looks like you will be keeping all the Beavertails from now on!
It's so good. I like bacon all different ways kinda depends on my mood I guess haha. As a beef fat lover though I was truly shocked at how good this was. I hate other kinds of fat so if it was anything like pork fat I would have gagged lol
@@LTOutdoors15, I bet the Native American Indians loved Beavertail, that and Groundhogs and Raccoons 🦝 were probably the most “fat” they could get! Fat is high energy and calorie food and the hoofed game usually didn’t have very much fat. Not like our deer today in Michigan with Corn and Soybeans to eat.
awesome, some people like to eat tail and some don't. I about fell out of the chair when you said "bottoms up" lol

Did look like bacon!! I’ll have to ask a couple trapping buds for one!
Absolutely!!! Let me know when you try it! It's so darn good
Ever use it for fishing?
I did through the ice one winter but the pieces I used were too big for the panfish to fit in their mouth. They definitely bit it though lol
Looks good nothing better than the fat off a steak .
Absolutely!! I sure love that taste
You either love it or you don't
Exactly, I think anyone who enjoys the taste of steak fat would definitely love beaver tail
