I can comfortably say that one of the main reasons I won last year was because I was so active on waivers. There was a good bit of my league that was pretty active throughout the entire year, but I was definitely the most active on waivers and was able to find people like Spencer strider before they became who they are known to be now. I cannot stress enough how much this plays a part in a fantasy sport like baseball that lasts so long

Trying to start a league with friends, this helps alot
The Luis Castillo saga killed me last year, his era cost me points/games weekly, and I held him until the end of June....
THEN he bounced back for the second half on someone else's team...
I wish I took your advice about draft capital not mattering last season. Lucas Giolito was my SP1 and had horrendous surface level and underlying stats all year and I still held on to him because I took him in Round 4. Thankfully Shane McClanahan saved my season

I like to target high upside rookies late in the draft. This year they are: Jordan Walker, Miguel Vargas, Ezekiel Tovar, Grayson Rodriguez, and Hunter Brown.

@@OwnersBoxFantasy yes that’s a great point do your mocks on the same site so your are familiar with the rankings and when guys are likely to go
Julio Rodriguez went in round 3 of our draft last year. Gunnar Henderson is likely a round 4-5 pick in our league this year. Our people go for the upside/youth.
Then you should be getting steals for solidified production :)
Round 3 is pretty wild, I hope you tried to buy low on whoever drafted him when he was struggling start of the season haha

I’m in a points keeper(6) league and I’m going in with three pitchers Kyle wright, Zac Gallen, & Dylan Cease, my hitter is Kyle Tucker. I have two picks in the supplemental round. I’m drafting Cristian Javier as my 5th pick and I’m hoping to either draft Corbin Carroll or Michael Harris.
Which of the last two would you draft first?
