In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864
These materials are also available via channel membership on UA-cam: www.youtube.com/@BarnevognverkstedNo/membership , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerworkshop

It still is the best choice for running errands in the city. I'm currently using it with my average sized 5 year old son. Yes, the back rest is short but there is no rule that says a child must travel with their head laid back and my son rarely ever does but just in case I solved that problem with shoving a folded blanket in to the empty space that is behind the back rest. Of course when it's reclined this is not possible nor neccessary. We use it for shopping with the Yoyo bag which is a fabulous addition that I highly recommend. Look, we tried mostly every high end stroller (Bugaboo, Stokke, Baby Jogger which I know is not considered high end however in my opinion it is high end performance wise) and the Yoyo2 is the one that stuck. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT is also almost perfect but it is much harder to steer one handed with a 17kg child in the seat. The Yoyo2 and the City Mini GT are the only 2 strollers that I don't regret buying.

@@erinboro Bugaboo Bee5, Buffalo and Fox they were all great to be honest (the latter 2 is on the heavier side, they were harder to push with a 15kg+ child). I still miss the Bee5 but the front wheels were way too flexible and they would get caught in difficult terrain sometimes. The Yoyo2 front wheels rigidity works in it's advantage. We really did love the Bee5 a lot tho because of the size of the canopy and the seat. The Yoyo2 has a smaller seat but the quality is better than that of the plastic seat of the Bee5. And while the Bee5 is much more comfortable for the child I question it's longevity.

My experience with the Yoyo was using it from birth (with the 0+ pack) up until my baby was about 9 months and I loved it! But as my baby got older it seemed like she was outgrowing the stroller so I ended up selling it. Some of the things I didn't like was that she needed a leg rest for comfort, but it wasn't supported so my daughter could kick it down and I would have to constantly pull it back up. The seat is probably the smallest and most narrow out of all the ultra compact strollers. This is good when they're young, but as she was approaching 1, I felt like she was going to outgrow the seat faster than I thought (we have a tall child). I also found the seat isn't upright and she seemed slouched in it and I wished it reclined a bit further down for naps. The ball berings rusted on me and I hated how that looked. I also noticed that there was some rust happening on the white coil coating on the suspension as well. However, on the plus side it's amazing quality - probably the best fabrics with lots of color options and easy to wash, has an effortless push that's easy to maneuver with one hand and it just feels lux. I still needed an ultra compact stroller for daily errands so I ended up getting the Mountain Buggy Nano V3 and am really happy with it. It is very similar and addresses all the issues that I had with the Yoyo - the only downside is that it is definitely a cheaper quality and build, but for the price being significantly less that was expected. With a now toddler the Nano is good because you can add on a bumper bar snack tray and it has a very big seat that reclines flat. The seat isn't as cushioned as the Yoyo, but I added a reversible seat liner for added comfort. I feel like the Nano is more practical overall. They say you can't carry it onto a plane, but I haven't had any issues with that yet. The Yoyo is great and I originally invested in it to have long term, but realized it didn't work for me. Although, the Yoyo also has the best resale value so selling it after realizing all this was no issue.

Which are your comments regarding the joint between the handlebar and the rest of the chassis? Is this joint stable? I had other strollers, which broke the joint, because it didn’t resist the weight when going up the curb. Thank you!

Have you heard anything about the silver cross auto, I believe it’s new, and can only find it in one store in the uk and that’s Argos. It looks good.

I hadn't heard of it, thanks for the tip! It's not available here in Norway yet, but I'll keep an eye out if it shows up in the future. Currently my favorite 'auto-folding' stroller is the Leclerc Influencer / Magicfold. If you're interested, our review is here: ua-cam.com/video/HM_NQeWocRQ/v-deo.html
