My Fold4 is 7 months old. Got hinge problem 2nd week of April. I can't fully open the main screen. Never dropped the phone. The hinge just gave up. Went to Samsung service center and they fixed it for free. Now my main screen is flatter compared to when It was brand new.
In Korea this was a temporary event for all Fold4 buyers(not just samsung care)! I honestly don't recommend Samsung care for most phones but for foldables... yes. I didn't upload the video yet, but just after my screen protector got filled up with air, I am now facing a hinge problem(unable to fully open).
Just ordered my zfold4 even though everybody was telling me to wait but I go odds on phones not evens and I currently own the 13 pro max which is having Bluetooth issues sadly
I still would not buy one , no disrespect but 7 months old is still almost new , theres a pile of galaxy fold 4 reviews , but i have slab phones 5 and 6 year old i worked to death but are still in pristine Condition never needed a repair and still in use today . If you come back in three or 4 years and tell me it survived in good condition without repairs needed id almost be impressed . If you read owners reviews there is a decent percentage out there that have had issues in every fold model. I saw a young blokes fold 4 a couple of months ago , he uses the hell out of it , the screen was a greasy mess , it also had dead pixels in spots and was starting to split up the centre , he told me he still loved it regardless , and he didn’t care if he would have to replace the screen even if he had to replace two of them , I get that it is very handy having the fold out screen for the extra screen realestate, but i just couldn’t in all good conscience buy a very expensive device that could end up needing multiple repairs in its life time. Not to mention compromises the fold has built in to it . As long as you are happy with it though , all the best to you.
Bro this is one of the best comments I've ever gotten. Thx :) i guess only time will tell. I'll be sure to update via shorts or post if the phone does fail on me. Till then take care
Hmm no issues for now! I've noticed that the phone makes a slight noise when folding... but I'm not exactly sure if that's because of the air bubbles or the hinge
bro i just got one problem, when there´s like a window in a window on a website, where i can write something in, for example an email browser and a pop up window to answer the mail, i cant manage to scroll the text window of the mail i answer in..if that makes sense to you. when i click it, the cursor appears to type letters etc and i can click/hold it and scroll up/down..but it rushes so fast through the lines that its a pain to navigate..especially in longer mails. But trying to scroll with my finger like on any regular site it wont do anything..sometimes the back window (the main window where the pop up is embedded in) scrolls while i move my finger, but not the text window... gosh its a pain in the butt, since i mostly wanted to use it for business mails etc.. i tried to look up settings to reduce cursor scrolling speed or something but i couldnt find anything.. any tips anyone? much appreciated!
Thanks, it’s nice to know that, where you live, in South Koreea, you have really good Samsung service. For a “simple man”, like me, 1600 $ later, getting that “great” samsung service… not that great. 🙃
Loved the video and pointers
That's a great review The details are very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!

That's awesome! I'm actually getting a free screen protector replacement today.
@Day in Tech [John Kim] Do you need samsung care for that? Also if I do get a foldable would you recommend samsung care

@@johnkim-tech durability. So many reddit posts about how it breaks I don't wanna get one
I hear that foldables having problems with the hinges and the inner screen is it true?does fold 4 is durable in time???
I thought it was, but sorry to say I've been having durability issues myself.
Main cons
Battery
Camera to be given flagship status..
So called premier support to be improvised atleast in India
How's the support in India?
@@abdulrahaman0157 nothing great

@@johnkim-tech Thanks my friend , i look forward to your next video .
Cheers .
How did you get that home screen 8*8 layout for apps? Max i have is 6*6. Please guide me to it
This happens only if you enable cover screen mirroring(its in the homescreen setting)
any news about the film bubbles?
i think thats makes the big screen break because of the bubble pressure then closed

I'll probably make an update video on Shorts if that was to happen
So are you using a case? Or not anymore?
Not using it anymore..
hello what keyboard model? thanks
My keyboard is only sold in korea. If you do buy one I recommend getting one with a trackpad!
