Great show Jamie and good to see you back in the spotlight - missed your tones! Nik Huber is always an excellent guest - open, informative, humble and so much talent. The finest guitars - one is too much and 100 not enough! Best wishes, Ky
I have a very early krautster 1 and love it. Such a great build. The neck is chunky but is so comfortable don’t know how he does it. Love the Sea Shepherd t shirt as well Nik!
Years ago it was my recorder.. it’s fantastic. I would sync it to my computer but just use the computer for midi. I decided to keep it when I moved studios. I use it for mostly monitoring, plus practising and setting up tones, as It has some great effects. I have it connected digitally so I can also use it for recording my computer, say if I’m doing a video demoing a plugin’s in real time. It’s also connected to a patch bay so I can interstate it into hybrid mixing. It’s basically an O2R.
Love his guitars. The tops are just a little too beautiful fpr my liking... but nothing you couldn't fix with 2-3 coats of high heat exhaust pipe spray paint. ;) I just didn't dare following through so far.
Thanks for your comment.. Well, something you need to understand is how these videos are shot. We have 20-30 minute slot in each room to setup, prep and shoot, so sometimes we done really have time to focus on setting amps.. you plug in and go. The focus for this video was mainly to talk to Nik.

Hey, how do you use your AW4416 in your studio?

I had an Orca and I changed the pickups because it didn't have much attack and punch but I sold it because it never macthed up to my Les Pauls.

Dude knows how to kill a tone. All guitars sound the same with that amp. Fantastic guitars but really bad tone that is ear piercing.
