I LOVE Louisiana!!! We lived there for 9 years and left last year To go back to TN for family reasons ,but we ARE moving back!!! You can't beat the people and the food! Its home to me!!!
The people and the food are two of my favorite things about Louisiana too. I do love TN too though. When you guys head back this way I'd be happy to help you make it happen if you need it... then the first seafood platter is on me!
I grew up in Mississippi and my granddaddy used to take me and my brothers hunting in Louisiana all the time. I’ve been thinking about moving there recently
2:19 I saw someone on a motorcycle get hit by a car (lightly, the guy lost balance and then fell) and instantly people stopped their cars and some got out to help.
@@LouisianaLiving I did not know that was you! That was good of you to do! It happened on Old Hammond Highway. To anyone reading this: I recommend Shaun Ramos as your relator!!!
I like Covington too... the traffic is just more than I could handle. But I guess the reason it's so congested is because so many people want to live there.
We have parishes here instead of counties (don't know why we have to be different than the rest of the country). But some of the norther parishes are Caddo, Quachita, Bossier, Lincoln, Natchitoches, etc.
Ive been looking into moving there but not sure which area. Ive heard the schools are not good(would homeschooling be better?) but the land is cheaper thsn anywhere else. I like the laid back vibe and love they seem to share for each other which is highly important. Can you recommend an area? Preferably low crime
I’ve been living in Louisiana all of my life and if you do want to move here, the best area in my opinion is Lafayette or Baton Rouge. The schooling is pretty good, if you are sending your kid(s) to private school.
When searching for a constitutional attorney to represent me in federal court after being TOTALLY violated by gov't, he was VERY interested until he asked "what STATE did this happen in ?" When I told him "Lousyana," his response was " that is a VERY corrupt state."
I live in the northeast part of La out in the country my ride broke down and lost my job can't even get a job cause nobody help you get to work don't move here it not as good as they say people just look out for them shelf

I was born in Louisiana. Family moved when I was a child. But it's time to go back to my roots.
Come on back Kisha! Where did you end up when you left Louisiana?
@@LouisianaLiving California
I would love to live there. My wife’s family is from Baton Rouge, they’re all living great. I really like Covington.

Video idea ( how about you list some good Louisiana / br restaurants 😈
Can you give me some of the names, of counties, in Northern part of the state? I need to do some research for a specific HUD loan.

I love Louisiana too .. I love the climate, the people, the food, the
Culture and all but it’s so corrupt 😢
Same here! There is a lot to love, but I've got to be honest... I don't follow the politics at all so I can't really comment much on any corruption.

I'm starting to get the vibe that you're not a fan of Louisiana
