Hi Brett, Good maintenance video. 1000 miles on her already. I would love one if we lived in Montana or North Idaho where there is allot of good mountain back roads. Be great for hunting too. Where we are at mainly boat country except up north and eastern Washington where it's more wide open country but not allot of trees that's why further east is so popular

Wow, just checked my email and got my first product review request for a car code reader. They saw my video on the one I did last year. This will be fun and maybe help put me over 500 subs

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I was able to service my Polaris 800 from this video. What type of hydraulic lift are you using. I want to get one to make future servicing easier.

Every oil change I have ever done (including working at oil shops) says to remove the top fill plug first so when draining it drains all the way.
Are we not supposed to do this on Polaris?

so my question is this, I know it says 100hr or 1000 miles, but which one should you pay more attention too? because when the key is turned on, even if the machine isn't running your timer is running in the sxs isn't so would it be safe to say that its more important about the miles than it is the hours? For me I just use mine to do little stuff around the yards, cruise the back roads or drive on my town streets. I am tired of taking it to the dealer and paying $250.00 each time, not including gas in the truck and my time when I could do this myself. I just didn't know if I should pay more attention to the miles or hours? and yes I do check the fluids

@Joshuabaugher-jt2sp honestly I feel like it's what you are comfortable with. I change mine once a year typically. Sometimes it's over on the miles. I'm easy on my machine like you though.

@@bucksgarage1 i thought that would be good enough. A buddy of mine goes riding like hundreds of miles every weekend and muds etc…. He said he changes his often… I mean I might put 25-50 miles on it on a long good ride but not often

@ovoxo that's a good bit of miles. Who knows when the last time it was changed then. I would keep an eye on it, maybe check it for more shavings after 20 miles or so.
