The saddest part is the reason why you never get stuff back. If the cops catch the thieves, they sell the stolen goods off for their police charities. Doesn't matter if you had your name, address or any other identifier on the stuff. It is your job to periodically call the police to find out if they have found your stuff or not and every time you call you need to give them the description with identifiers of the stolen goods cause even though they have computers it is too much for them to use them to keep track of citizens stolen property for the purpose of restoring it to its rightful owner. This means the police are just another division of the thievery ring.

You'd probably really hate another video. In that video they put tracking devices on all the items. They're even able to track a guy that works for the Post office!
Uses the excuse that he works for the Post office and saw the package on a porch at 2:00 a.m. and decided to deliver it to the right address. Of course the package was at the rate address.
The police actually let him go without any charges saying that since he works for the Post office it couldn't possibly be a theft!

Well it was sort of the truth. The kid would get out of the car door and dash up to peoples porches and dash back to the car, just in the door. All done. Door Dash at it's finest.

If she needs her mommy so bad and can’t pay the rent, she should be home with said mommy.

The real problem is prosecutors and judges. She knows that she’s going to be able to plea bargain this case down to nothing and probably spend no time in jail. She’s already talking about the different options she has because she’s been in the system enough to know, there should be no options. You should be charged with the crime you committed, and nothing else and then sentenced accordingly.
