I think the 15 year old is there because he's a juvenile who's been told that nothing happens to him if he gets caught. If the pick up goes wrong the driver just drives away. Where I live we've had a string of petty thefts from back yards from a ring of people who use juveniles to actually do the work. The two "petty" thefts from my place cost me 1500 bucks

So this woman believes it's acceptable to steal from others because she can't make her rent? Yet she's likely stealing from people who can't afford to have parcels stolen. We have become a society lacking morals.
Sadly a lot of what is in those packages is Medical supplies, which are not sellable. I have had 2 packages taken one was Very expensive skin cream, the other was a special bandage for my husbands infected foot. Neither was replaceable because there are pictures of them being delivered.

My neighbors have a special needs child and forgot to order his seizure medication from their new pharmacy because their insurance plan changed. They rush-ordered for same-day evening delivery. Porch pirates drove by and stole the kids medication while they were having dinner. Son went without taking dose that evening (hey it's only 1 day right?) and had a horrible seizure at 5am. He had to be rushed to ER, luckily is still alive. This wretched thief deserves to go to jail.

I think the 15 year old is there because he's a juvenile who's been told that nothing happens to him if he gets caught. If the pick up goes wrong the driver just drives away.

Sadly a lot of what is in those packages is Medical supplies, which are not sellable. I have had 2 packages taken one was Very expensive skin cream, the other was a special bandage for my husbands infected foot. Neither was replaceable because there are pictures of them being delivered.
I was always hoping someone wouldn’t steal a package from my porch that I got delivered monthly. Thankfully it never happened. Stealing packages off a porch should be treated as a felony just like tampering with someone's mail.
It should be a federal offense for mail theft ,how it isnt i just dont know
If she had 40 packages in there, it likely WAS a felony.
Totally agree.
@@TomMurray-pd5jjhow do you mean?
Depending on what was in those packages (prescription meds, expensive electronics, checks, jewelry), and if any were delivered by USPS, she could well be charged with a felony - grand theft, possession of medications, mail theft) The child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor are also felonies. And littering.
Every package these thieves steal is equal to labor or retirement funds stolen DIRECTLY out of someone’s wallet. Sickening.

Felony.. at the very least.

Glad to see they actually catch some of these people. Lived in a neighborhood where I had to plan my package delivery because people would be constantly slinking around the sidewalks with hoodies and backpacks looking for stuff to steal like it was a legitimate career. Police didn't seem to care neither did the delivery drivers as long as they dropped it off and took a picture.
So she probably has well over $950 of stolen property. If so, that’s a felony. Charge her with a felony. Send her to prison.
She's never going to prison for this. Our justice system is a joke. She'll be back to stealing in a few days.

My neighbors have a special needs child and forgot to order his seizure medication from their new pharmacy because their insurance plan changed. They rush-ordered for same-day evening delivery.
