Had samples of this and the 40% version side by side at the airport and I agree. Completely different animal. Think it was just over 300 Euro and I was sorely tempted.
man, if blue label was made like this then Johnnie would not be ashmed of what has happened to his heritage. This was excellent, standard blue label is atrocious. i mean... it is not 'bad' it is just exctremely over hyped and disappointing. I would rather have so many other whisky than touch it
The fact that Blue Label can be this great and yet they give us trash 40% versions is despicable. I only buy the ghost and rare versions or cask strength versions. Cheers mate
yeah, i just don't even though this was good, our club tries not to buy blue labels if we can help it. Just annoying as they price them so high when they are good, makes the price vs utility no worthwhile
