I looked through his Instagram and he was disappointing. He calls Indian Army and India, an occupier in Kashmir. Lost my respect for him instantly.

@Prasenjit Roy He's definitely an Urban Naxal. He speaks in favour of Islamic extremists of Kashmir and also supports LGBTQ of Kashmir, how ironic. This podcast is so misleading in that sense. You can never know who's the wolf amongst the sheeps.

About the Lakshadweep part - Yes we have been passing closely to the islands recently during our ships route from suez to Colombo { Sri Lanka } & vice Versa . ( Sailing on Container Ships , there were some rumours about a port coming in there ) & thanks Ranveer for sharing the journey of a seafarer living the ghost life

Finally sth on the oceans. Remember watching whale wars on discovery during my childhood, the show covered Sea shepherds fighting Japanese whalers. Been following them ever since and plan to join them for expeditions soon. Requesting you to bring Ali Tabrizi on the podcast. The guy made seaspiracy on Netflix and people need to know more about the truth. Hope this won't go unnoticed

Try to reach Commander. Abhilash Tomy, he is a retired Indian naval officer and yachtsman. In 2013, he became the first Indian to complete a solo, non-stop circumnavigation of the world under sail, and he also competed in the 2018 Golden Globe Race. He should have a lottt to say about his personal experience!!!

Actually That Cyclone Intensity thing occurs because of the increase in Sea surface temperature (SST). Usually, the eastern coast of we can say that Bay of Bengal region hosts these great cyclones, but I've observing these patterns since last few years in Arabian Sea also that, due to increase in SST, which is in turn due to Anthropogenic acceleration of Global warming, it is also hosting intense cyclones............... This is just too awesome podcast man I also listened to its second part of it on Spotify and it was so so interesting I really look forward to such podcasts which share experiences which we never ever experienced and maybe won't even experience but they exist and they are so prominent but just hidden due to our assumption of world that it's too small.
I really hope you bring more such people to podcasts. It was so much fun. Thank you Ranveer Bhaiya for doing this for us...

Extremely useful podcast. PROFOUND STUFF. An International High Seas Treaty has been pitched by some western environmentalists. Where has it reached?
Regulate fishing, stop whaling, subsidize inland fisheries, install wire meshes in water bodies to catch plastic, legalize industrial hemp so substitute plant packaging gets made in scale. Stop throwing sewage wastewater into water bodies. Generate green hydrogen, recycle the wastewater to industries for hydropower.
    This is most URGENT.

Thank you, Ranveer. very good subject matter. Thank you, Capt. Sid. So much learning. Your environmental + Indian history's podcast should be made compulsory study material in India. Maybe you can make a compilation and sell it to educational institutions + housing societies + Central+ state governments so that there is better awareness that will create right policies and focus on preventing environmental problems and if unavoidable to look for solutions. I hope your part2 has also focused on solutions.
