Steven, you made me jump on that one 😂😂😂
When those type of debris get loose in and around the angle valves I like to purge the pipe prior to connecting the flex supply to the faucet. Sometimes that crud makes it to the faucet control valve and sticks in the faucet limiting flow or blocking ii plus the aerator should be off of the faucet on the first time to open the faucet. That at least helps eliminate faucet clogs.
I have repaired plenty of main water lines. I learned early on to open up the hose bib to purge the dirt and rocks that got into the line during the initial ground work. Even after that I still had multiple angle stops get clogged in the same house. Good advice on removing the aerator.

I just changed the Anode Rod in my water heater. OMG, you should have seen the large chunks of calcium! I flushed the tank with a garden hose attached. I got a lot of calcium chunks out of the tank, before they clogged the pipes.
What is the life span of an anode rod?
@@nilolee2426 3 - 6 years. Mine was almost 5 years old. There was so much calcium on it that there was not much corrosion on the anode rod. I replaced it with an electric anode (Corra - Protec).
@@46fd04 - yep! Impressed current cathodic protection is best. Just put in a Corro-Protec I’m my three year old unit. The original magnesium rod was about half gone.
