Flight reports are also fine. Y'know, you won't connect everything by rail, even HSR Planes are the great thing, HSR (and regular Intercity, regional and city rail, depending on the situation) is just better for some usage :P
I work for Alaska so this is really cool to see you fly with us! Edit: That seat next to you in Premium is blocked for covid and is the only seat we still block.
*most April fools videos:* rickroll/some other joke *April fools videos from good UA-camrs:* an April fools edition of a popular series Simply Railway: *plane*
aprils fools or not april fools, you can always start a parallel channel with flight reports. While it was not bad, it is not in the level of your train reports. With some extra love, you can make awesome aviation videos as well.
"Simply Airway." :) As an Atlanta resident, I'm glad that you like Delta, or "home" airline, the most. It's a good airline, and in Atlanta we have one of the world's best airports. :)
u know there is a channel called simply aviation but yea it's a joke this channel focuses on trains not planes that's what simply aviation is about this is about trains
I flew into Anchorage years ago on an Aeroflot plane from SFO. It was quite an experience, especially flying through the mountains prior to landing. Looking forward to watching the next video about your train journey, too.
I thought this was gonna be some kinda joke but when I saw it's an actual trip report I was surprised. The trip report was good so I wouldn't mind seeing more of that in the future
Suggest you try JetBlue next time you are flying in the States. I think you will find it as good if not better than Delta. F.Y.I. Alaska Airlines is a Seattle based company that has an extensive network in Alaska.
So I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and I love the geographic variety you provide! Seeing how European trains compare to American ones and maybe we’ll even see some other places someday too. One thing keeps bothering me though.. I can’t seem to find any info on the train from Europe to the US. You should do a review of that!
Did the return leg of this flight in Aug '07....an MD-83 was the ride back then....0 sleep was had despite earplugs next to the right engine that night...
Great video! Just as good as one of your train reports. You should do flight reviews more often. Your style is very suited for it. 😊 What date and flight number was your flight? It should be easy to track down the aircraft trail number using those two bits of info. 🙂
So Alaska uses older 737 like the one you were on. But all had lighting and and other upgrades in phase 1. Phase 2 will be front cabin and premium economy seats
I don't know if it is still true, but being French, you will appreciate this. At the beginning of the F Concourse at Sea-Tac Airport, there was a wine bar, a great place to wait for your flight. I almost missed mine. Why? For some reason, peoples phones switched to Paris, France and changed the time accordingly! As soon as I left the wine bar, my phone switched back to Seattle/Tacoma. I asked the bartender about that, and he said it happened all the time and no one knew why. NOT April Fool's. True story.
Since you are from France their European partner is British Airways since they joined Oneworld alliance since yesterday. That means you must use a British Airways frequent flyer miles to gain mileage points on Alaska Airlines. You're better off doing DL Seattle to Anchorage to use Air France mileage points. You might need to try Seattle light rail
Haha! I fly up and down the west coast out of Seattle for work and I like Alaska first and Delta second. I find Alaska has just a bit more seat room, a slightly higher seatback and is on time more often...
1:40 w8, Delta has a separate flight to Fairbanks or is it just a code share? Two flights like these just 10 minutes apart are quite unusual, aren't they?
US Airports try to hardest to insure that it is so difficult to use transit to get to the airport even where there is transit service to the airport because they make so much money from parking revenue. Alaska has always boarding the same way at least every time I have flown them and I have quit a few miles on Alaska since they are my favorite airline although I am now stuck living 3 1/2 hours from the nearest Alaska Airport (Minneapolis) and normally stuck flying American.
Btw in the video description you said Alaska Airlines is the state airline of Alaska, it's actually not. Alaska airlines is based in Seattle, and it offers a bunch of routes to Alaska, but it's not funded by the state of Alaska.
I hate the long walk from the light rail station to the terminal. You can cut two or three minutes off the walk by cutting through the parking through those screens on the left.
Alaska Airlines is the only US airline that lets domestic first class passengers use the lounge. You even flew out of N terminal which has one of the best lounges. I bet you feel like the fool now. Just kidding. Side note, I flew out of gate N12 on my last flight before COVID.
APRIL FOOLS!!! Ahah got you! See y'all tomorrow for a decent way of travelling. Mucho love 😘
Ok!
Flight reports are also fine. Y'know, you won't connect everything by rail, even HSR
Planes are the great thing, HSR (and regular Intercity, regional and city rail, depending on the situation) is just better for some usage :P
You should do a collab with David from Simply Aviation!
I don’t mind plane videos as well as train videos
You're late! Several decades ago you could have taken a dogsled!
Don’t you dare say that Simply Aviation is going to release a train video today
David and Felix take the ÖBB Railjet from Vienna Airport to their home
😂😂
մեծ կատակ Ես շատ ծիծաղեցի tu ptq ! 🤣🤣🤣
@flomoe դու հիմար ես ?🙃🙃
Damn, USA had flying trains all this time and we didn't know?? They've fooled us
I mean, you never seen the end of Back To The Future part 2.🤷🏻
I work for Alaska so this is really cool to see you fly with us!
Edit: That seat next to you in Premium is blocked for covid and is the only seat we still block.

Simply Railway: *plane*
Ooh plane trip report on a train channel! Happy April Fools!
(Btw you should do a plane trip report video on April Fool's every year!)
Maybe a ferry or something by boat next year aha
yesss I like this idea!
Simply Railway becomes Simply Aviation
We’ve got simply aviation. We’ve got simply railway. Now I need simply buses, and simply boats 😂
I was like "Ohh Simply Aviation uploaded something" 😂😂
Nice tripreport!👍I think you should do more plane tripreports in the future.😁
I agree
yo man what a perfect landing pilots did, the airplane didn t move at all when they hit the ground GG
aprils fools or not april fools, you can always start a parallel channel with flight reports. While it was not bad, it is not in the level of your train reports. With some extra love, you can make awesome aviation videos as well.
surprised you actually made a real video about your trip instead of just putting in a rick roll, love the effort
"Simply Airway." :)
As an Atlanta resident, I'm glad that you like Delta, or "home" airline, the most. It's a good airline, and in Atlanta we have one of the world's best airports. :)
u know there is a channel called simply aviation but yea it's a joke this channel focuses on trains not planes that's what simply aviation is about this is about trains
I am not much of an aviation fan but I did like this trip report and I think the dim lights is perfect if you want to sleep whilst on the flight
Simply Railway...more like Simply Aviation 😂.
Hahaha😂
Ummmm
They actually exist
He will meet David and Felix at Vienna
@@ag6371 yes
When I saw the notification I thought that this was a video of simply aviation's
I am a big fan of @Alaska Airlines and I am glad you did a trip report on them. It is also good that you are branching out to COMAIR
i'm a subscriber for both simply railway and simply aviation, so, you got me there :D
I flew into Anchorage years ago on an Aeroflot plane from SFO. It was quite an experience, especially flying through the mountains prior to landing.

Great review!! A little more like Simply Aviation than Simply Railway.👍😄
I don't know what is happening here, but hope this video is just a prequel of your Alaskan Railway video 😅😅
Sea-Tac airport is so familiar for me. I think I've been to all of the places you went except for the Link station 😂Thank you for this video.
As a railfan and aviator, I still very much enjoyed it. I respect it!
Suggest you try JetBlue next time you are flying in the States. I think you will find it as good if not better than Delta. F.Y.I. Alaska Airlines is a Seattle based company that has an extensive network in Alaska.
Even if it's an April fool, you did a really nice trip report ;)
Must say that even though this is a April fools day prank, you did a really good job on the aviation part
Being rather partial to Alaska Airlines, this was a nice report....thanks!
their mood lighting is very relaxing.
I was wondering whats the deal with this report But LOVED you still did the classic Toilet Time visit. 🤪
am i watching Simply aviation, or simply railway?
So I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and I love the geographic variety you provide! Seeing how European trains compare to American ones and maybe we’ll even see some other places someday too.
One thing keeps bothering me though.. I can’t seem to find any info on the train from Europe to the US. You should do a review of that!
My favorite part has to be the straight line on the map at 0:30 lmao
I got so confused before realizing it was April 1st
Thannnnks a lot for making plane videos .....I love planess......😊😊😊
Terrific trip! It is always fun trying to take an adventure to someplace new!
A good April Fools would be reviewing the toilets on a London Underground train.
Hoho, Simply Aviation 2.0 is in da house
I was starting to think you rode a bicycle from each place where you caught the trains. HAHA. Nice job!
I really admire what mankind was able to achieve (airplanes) it's really amazing!
Well done! I loved the take-off part, you made it feel like I was almost flying myself... Thanks for the prank video!
That's a smooth landing.👏🏽
Next time, try Ketchikan. It's my favorite town in Alaska. (And my cousins run the amphibious Duck tour!)
Did the return leg of this flight in Aug '07....an MD-83 was the ride back then....0 sleep was had despite earplugs next to the right engine that night...

This trip report promises to be interesting
Actually I like seeing you fly to get to your train trip. That's what many of us have to do... No April Fool! 👍😁
So Alaska uses older 737 like the one you were on. But all had lighting and and other upgrades in phase 1. Phase 2 will be front cabin and premium economy seats
Great video. Thanks for sharing.

I used to do this run many many times. I lived in Fairbanks 3 years and I am from seattle.

*Yeah, totally* 😏😏😏
"TOILETS TIME"

Haha great prank! And still in the Simply Railway style 😎
Awesome video!
1:40 w8, Delta has a separate flight to Fairbanks or is it just a code share? Two flights like these just 10 minutes apart are quite unusual, aren't they?
@CB Transport That's kinda funny that these flights are so close to each other, but the demand is probably high nonetheless
Great video!
Do a collab with simply aviation💀
I was waiting to be Rick Rolled but this is good too! 😂
Nice dig at delta with the awards lol 😂
10:52 BUTTER
Wow
Is there going to be a light rail review?
US Airports try to hardest to insure that it is so difficult to use transit to get to the airport even where there is transit service to the airport because they make so much money from parking revenue.

I'm pretty new here but I would enjoy some airline and airplane reviews.
HEY MAN 👨LOVE FROM INDIA🇮🇳

I hate the long walk from the light rail station to the terminal. You can cut two or three minutes off the walk by cutting through the parking through those screens on the left.
I lived in Fairbanks for 3 years
What! There is train service between Seattle and Fairbanks?!
If you drive south of Fairbanks there is a city called North Pole,Alaska that is not a made up city it's a really cute town

One of these days Alaska Railroad will complete its interconnect with the Canadian rail system. One day...
Simply airlines
Just when I thought I was watching a simply aviation video. And Alaska Airlines isn’t even based in Alaska. They weren’t even founded there.
Yes, I was going to mention that. Alaska Airlines is based in Seattle.
Yo that train has wings
What is this? Razgriz Flight & Spotting changed their thumbnail style AND used simply railway’s logo? *S U S A M O N G U S*
You're probably over the Pacific for parts of the trip.

Alaska still leaves the middle seat open in Y+
Simply Airplane
Still do the hamburgers for sale?
Good Prank Simply Flying 🤣 Got Tricked, We All Thought It Was Simply Aviation
Alaska Airlines is the only US airline that lets domestic first class passengers use the lounge. You even flew out of N terminal which has one of the best lounges. I bet you feel like the fool now. Just kidding.
