My husband is a retired Marine. This video reminded me of all the bases we lived at during our twenty years. You did a great job showing all the important things a family would need to feel at home. All bases should have a "welcome video "done as well as yours.💜

It has been years! I was stationed there in the 80s My God, it looks so different. I was there 10 years, miss it! I loved it. Housing is so different. They rebuilt it! Memories! Memories! They probably tore it down. I went there a SSgt and left a MSgt!!!!!

As the mom of two serving in Canadian armed forces just wanted to give a big Thank You to all the American air force personnel protecting your country. Military life is not always easy on families but this fantastic facility certainly tries to help!

What a wonderful tribute to our military! I was a Navy kid and we only lived on Base once but it was an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, it was during the Vietnam War and a time when many people were anti-military. Thankfully, times have changed and our men and women in the Armed Forces are getting the respect that they have always deserved! The ending of your vlog brought tears to my eyes. Jess, you produced a beautiful program that will be so useful to military families coming to Alaska! Thank you for an outstanding job!

That was an awesome video! My husband and I were both in the Air Force, and stationed at Eielson in the late 80's early 90's. We actually met on base, and where married at the old Chapel 30 yrs ago this year. We lived off base in North Pole. It was amazing to see how much has changed over the years, and I thank you for that because of your vlog!! We are hoping to come back and visit next year.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this awesome, extremely informative video tour of Eielson AFB. I literally just found out today that I will PCS to this base as a follow-on assignment in September of 2020 after my tour in Korea. Being from the South, my family and I wasn't sure what to expect, but we are now super excited after watching this video. Thanks again and God Bless!

Our dad was a Navy Protestant chaplain & we worshiped at the chapels at every base. I ended up calling us "Chapelineans" since there were sometimes several chaplains assigned there and you might have a Baptist chaplain (Dad) or a Methodist or Presbyterian chaplain preaching. We also had a Catholic chaplain at most of the chapels. When our dad was assigned to a ship, we would attend services on board the ships when they were home port. Thanks for the tour of the homes, temporary housing, etc and the childcare. Growing up and also as a newlywed, I was familiar with all of the things you pointed out. I am glad to see that they have expanded what they offer at the base. They are like a total city within the gates of the base. Thanks for taking the time to show everyone what it is like.

Great tour Jessica. I love seeing the amenities available on Base for our military personnel and their families. In the Florida Panhandle, where I'm from, there were 5 military bases when I was a kid. My maternal grandmother's husband (my step-granddad) was stationed at Eglin AFB as his final duty station. When I was a kid, my Dad's job with the Florida Department of Transportation transferred us to Milton, Florida, where there was a Navy Base where servicemen and women were stationed for 6 to 12 months as they were taught how to fly. The Navy Blue Angels home base is in Pensacola, Florida. My youngest sister's husband was in the Air Force when they were first married. They lived on Base and I was always so appreciative of the safety provided there for my "baby sister," especially when they were stationed at Minot AFB in Minot, North Dakota. The Base was the last stop before reaching the Canadian border approximately 25 north of the Base. For all these reasons, besides being an American citizen, I have great respect for and pride in our Military. Thank you for sharing and thank you to your parents for serving.

My uncle's served in the navy during WWII my one uncle was on the USS PENNSYLVANIA. My father was in the army during the Korean war. And recently my nephew was a SP in the navy. Assigned to Cuba. He is out now. I never served, but wish I did now. No airmen in my family that I'm aware of. This was a great look at our line of defense in Alaska. Maybe next time a interview with some high ranking officers on base there??? Will give yah a thumbs up! 😎🤓🤪😜

We were looking forward to this video!! After we saw the footage on instagram, I couldnt wait for you to post it!!! Thank you for filming at Eielson!! What a gift you gave us!!
A fun trivia fact!! As you panned over the Portraits of Distinguished Military Personnel, The very first picture is of Dr. Heather Wilson, Current Secretary of the Air Force!! She has applied and is the Sole Choice in the running to replace Dr. Diana Natalicio, The University of Texas El Paso (UTEP) Current President who is retiring after 30 years this year!!
Just thought to share that with you!!!
The Air Force Base is a beautiful place and I'm glad you had this blessing of an opportunity to be there!!
We have been to Air Shows in our city at US Army Base Fort Bliss.
We are honored to meet so many wonderful soldiers and their families!!
    Love and Hugs to All!!
