I love when Ten looks down to the clapping people in slight surprise. As though it would never occur to him that he might be thanked for the help he provides.
This right here reminds me of Martha’s speech where she says he’s saved your lives so many times and you never even knew he was there he never stops never stays and never asks to be thanked

Not really it worked the same way as the inhibitor as all he did was turn hers off and because her mind was controlling the machine and the cybermen were destroyed from the electric bolts
The last few episodes of Tennant's run were permeated with so much sadness. He'd lost so much. Rose (twice), Donna (worse than lost...forced to forget him or die), and before Donna even Martha had walked away from him. I loved Ten so much but by the end he had so much pain, yet at the end he still couldn't bear to leave this world.
@@sythrus Yes. I'm not sure that I agreed with all of the maths, but for Ten it adds up - although we have no way of knowing how long he ran after Waters of Mars, so he could be much older.

I liked david morrisey as jackson. Fingers crossed that (like peter capaldi) he'll return to the doctor who universe as a future regeneration of the doctor
And some people say Tennant hasn't got the presence of Capaldi LOL. He's got more than all of them. By FAR the most definitive and best portrayal. If you cannot see that then you cannot have the faintest idea of what makes a great actor.
MikeKenyon47 Did you really just imply that he isn't? Comparing Capaldi to Tennant is like comparing me to Laurence Olivier. Sorry sir but you clearly have no clue. Capaldi isn't fit to put Tennant's crown on for him before he plays Richard II.
7 died while wanting to be a warrior. 8 was a warrior that died while wanting to leave his past behind him. 9 rejected the past, and died choosing to run. 10 was always running, and died alone. 11 feared being alone and died while feeling he'd lived too long. 12 was an old man. Crazy how you can make that connection.
After watching The Walking Dead the past few weeks, it's hard to see David Morrissey as the Doctor after seeing him decapitate one of my favourite characters from the show.
And at 1:21, you can see where either the effects budget completely ran out, or they couldn't come up with a better effect, as our villains simply pop out of existance
He did an audio podcast from big fish productions. It’s with him and River song, called the 10th doctor and river song. It feels like the doctor, him and the actress voice their characters. And they have a full cast. It’s really food

Some people would, knowing they were once a person like 10, choose to not be that again. I wonder if we'll see a doctor at some point who's happy he's got 10 in his back pocket, for when he really needs him?

I think the pain is what made him want to stay, to try and fix at least some of the things causing him so much grief.
