1. I said Clarisys Audio speaker in the Hegel room was hard to drive, Clarisys Audio reached out and informed me their speaker is not hard to drive, has a 6ohm load and only drops down to 5.5ohm.
2. I mixed up mixed up Aurender with Auralic when covering the room with the streamers.
if anybody notices any other mixups or mistakes in the show coverage plz let me know, I'm in & out of these rooms quickly and edit/upload the videos in my hotel room around 1am so I'm pretty exhausted during this whole process, I can never promise perfection but I'm happy to point out inaccuracies when they're brought to me.

Erin, Randy and you are who I tune into the most for gear reviews/news. I understand there is a darkside between reviewers and manufacturers but I prefer never to hear about it as turns me off.
Are you okay?
“Aretai” is Latvian high-end brand, bookshelfs go for 9000€ a pair
Nemo! I met you coming out of the Meitner room; you took 15 minutes out of your day to specifically address my sub situation. Haven’t yet acquired the JL, but I did ditch the remote transmitter for a quality interconnect. Bam! Delay has disappeared and my rig has never sounded better. Thank you Nemo!
hey what's up man, it was my pleasure! Those side conversations are what I show up for, filming all the rooms is secondary. The people and conversations are what make the show such a fun time for me :)
Great coverage over the 2 days - many thanks from Japan (ex-Scotland) - all the best!!
I enjoyed both ur videos on Axpona 2024. Such a nice and kind voice!!
Super cool dude. Nice meeting you! And you are not lying… Morel was out of this world. I don’t need another set of speakers but I have to get them. For $2k is an insane value.
Thank you for the coverage, appreciate the look as I wasn't able to attend this year.
Agreed re: Morel. Those $2,000 towers were excellent and the little “Biggies” were amazing. The value of these shows is the exposure of the “Law of Diminishing Returns!” The new MoFi towers were excellent and the Vanatoos and Hsus don’t get enough respect.
Thanks for the second video. Your time in the candy store is over. Hopefully you’ll reviewing some of the equipment we saw soon. Rock on!
Great coverage, and you're right it's hard to remember everything when you're here.
unfortunately I missed running into you buy I have to say wow! Great show coverage indeed!
Nice coverage, thank you
Have you ever spoken with or reviewed any Ascend Acoustics products? They are local to you in San Clemente. I believe they are also a Rhythmik authorized dealer. It would be cool to see a review on the Sierra-LX stand mounts.
I emailed them but never got a reply.
LOUD and clear is what I like so Martin Logan looks good.
Not for nothing, but I own a Lumin D2 and the app is terrible. Like the sound, but difficult to navigate through the app.
Dang seems like a fun show.. would like to hear many of these rooms. I remember morel from back in the car audio days along with seas and vifa.
I like the Rutherford Audio speakers! They remind me of old JBL speakers! I'd love to hear them.
Superb Coverage !! Will you be reviewing Morel Avyra 622 Bookshelf's as well ? I take it you weren't impressed with Dayton OPAL 1 Spkrs ?
yeah, I will email morel every day until they send me a review sample. I didn't do much listening at the show, was too busy filming.
May God impart me with the cash needed to buy one of these sets of audiophile gear 🤣🤣
Plenty of channels looking at the big names and big rooms at this show, not enough looking at the little/new companies. Eye candy speakers are neat but useless for a TON of people. Parts Express diverted from their usual pack of components and showed some completed gear they have worked on over the last year, huge sound coming from those white bookshelves in the room
I just covered all the rooms aside from the few that were just too dark or too packed to film in.
I’d love to see a review of anything Gershman, most likely the Studio ll because of shipping.
they don't really get my attention at $4k/pair.
Great coverage Nemo - balls itch.
lolololol, thank you!
I think the Rutherford Audio speaker is in the Warehouse Shelf category.
lololol, accurate!
Nemo did you get a chance to listen to the tiny elac speakers for $2000? I was pretty impressed
nah bro they were playing the larger $7k bookies when I was in the room.
@@NemoPropaganda I'm watching show coverage cause james and i only saw maybe half the the rooms. There is a lot to cram in between socializing, listening, etc. It was great to meet you. Watching you do your thing at Carson's house was pretty dang cool!
@@legione1capone oh yeah bro, the only way I was able to cover every room is simple, I didn't listen to anything lol, all my time was spent filming and chatting with people but for me that's more fun than listening :)

I've never experienced a dark side per se but some companies are a pain in the butt to work with lol.
It seems you mixed up Aurender with Auralic... but no problem, great coverage otherwise.
oops!
By the way, the Clarisys Audios are not hard to drive at all. The Studio Plus in the Video is 6ohm and 5.5ohm at the lowest. All the best
that's not what dealers told me but I have not played with the speaker personally.
I am Clarisys Audio. Please let me know which dealers told you that as its simply not true. Thank you @NemoPropaganda
@@florianwiegand1313 oh cool, nice to meet you, I hope you understand I have a lot of conversations with a lot of people, I cannot recall where & when this was told to me, perhaps I misunderstood them. As always, this is another great lesson on why I should not speak on anything I have not experienced first hand. I can leave a pinned comment and update in the description box.
Not to worry. Our speakers use double sided ribbons which are a high linear impedance design. Nice to meet you too :-)@@NemoPropaganda
Did you see the Luxman room?
I did visit every room but I do not recall seeing a room for Luxman specifically.
We need more affordable open baffle speakers. Not sure why no one is doing it.
Search for "Clayton Shaw Acoustic Lab". They have a speaker called the Caladan for $3,000.00.
I'd imagine the driver cost, unothodox assembly, and shipping logistics just raise the barrier of entry. They also need bigger rooms and people with bigger rooms usually have deeper pockets and want nicer finishes.
Clayton Shaw's Caladan speaker $3,000.00. I've posted this info twice and it keeps getting deleted.
@@NemoPropaganda Yeah. I was thinking lack of cabinet construction would reduce costs. If it doesn't do full range but only does 60hz, I would be ok with it.
@@Leo-tf7gu but then everything is more visible and has to be perfect including the back of the driver & cabling.
Personally I don't see any point paying for speakers more than what the Wharfedale Elysian series cost.
I wouldn't buy any of these ridiculously priced speakers even if I was a multimillionaire. Maybe some see it as art pieces and justify it that way, but c'mon man $250K? lol
I get what you mean, it certainly gets crazy. I'm guessing people with speakers like that just have really big rooms and maybe its their way of treating themselves. Imagine being around 65+ years old, you're retired, you've sold your business, you have a bunch of money and not a lot of years left to spend it, you've setup accounts for the grandkids, etc... Most of you rother hobies are perhaps too cumbersome in older age and all that's left is to treat yourself :)
How’d you like the 18” Perlisten??
they weren't on when I was in there :)
What were the speakers in the msb room?
I don't know, the uber high end stuff doesn't appeal to me so I'm in and out pretty quickly.
Did you get to listen to the Opal1 at the parts express room?
they had a few speakers in there, I didn't pay attention to which ones were playing at the time.
@@NemoPropaganda thanks for covering the show! I really enjoyed your videos about it.
32Hz from those is no lie, subwoofers had to be unplugged for people to believe they were off.
Can anyone tell me the name of the white bookshelf speaker in this shot 10:32
Opal1
aurender
pinned comment beat you to it.
Why are you whispering.
Dude’s probably doing this from a hotel room
@@blah5387 I like his relaxed voice.
@@59seank are you okay
@@joc1016 I'm fine. I'm listening to Scary Pockets on UA-cam right now. Good stuff.
yup 100%
Theres the darlek b&w speakers again.😮
