think about it, she was burnt, they weakened her with garlic, and killed her via overdose, and dumped the body off. However, she didnt die before sunrise and the sunlight burnt her. it all makes sense now.

i thought about that too as a possibility. somebody also mentioned multiple-personalities. i don't think that's the case here though, because with schizophrenia or a similar mental disorder, a person tends to be chaotic and disorganized in their behaviors and movements. the Isdal woman was clearly very organized, meticulous, and planned her every move down to the last detail (and over an extended period of time), which suggests that she was of sound mind and well-trained in her profession. in the case of a mental disorder, there would have likely been some evidence left behind as to her identity.

Okay but her being a vampire also makes sense why she has multiple fake ID’s. She’d have to accumulate that over years of trying to seem like she is still human. She can’t ever stay somewhere for too long. Someone will notice she wasn’t aging. And maybe the wrong person did. And set her on fire. Can someone try and fit the pills part in? I still don’t understand that to any theory.

he meant she was a vampire hunter before they turned her as revenge, which is why she smelled like garlic (bc vampires dont like it itd serve as protection). not saying a agree with the theory lmao but one of the ways to traditionally kill a vampire is by burning so she could have done it herself to not live as a vampire or they did it as the final act

I quite liked Holly Horseley at first, but now I don't care for her to be honest. She tried to become a regular feature which started to become a bit boring. Some of her theories didn't even have an interesting twist as I hoped. I also didn't like that she removed a degree of anonymity by putting her face out there, making her less mysterious and quirky. The horse is still called Holly though.
How about getting Jack Barsky, the retired KGB spy who appeared in one of the latest buzzfeedblue videos, and ask him about this? I mean he was a real spy and I’m sure he’d know a lot about espionnage and if this incident with this woman could be related to the spy world. I think I’d be really interesting to know. Weirdly, there actually is a kind of science to the 'garlic repels vampires thing,' in the sense that many wasting diseases were sometimes mistaken for the work of demons, vampirism, or other supernatural evil. And garlic has long been known to be a curative, that does all kinds of good things for your health, not to mention being a natural mosquito repellent. So, it's not that crazy that a lot of folklore developed a "garlic repels blood sucking evil" story.

i'm sure ryan doesn't do much of the research either since this shows gotten so big. they probably have a team. shane might want to help with that but that would throw off the show's dynamic since it's ryan telling the audience and shane about the case and shane gets to react candidly. a lot of this show is their personality and how they talk to each other. this is for entertainment as much as it is for learning about these cases. i probably wouldn't watch this if ryan and shane weren't in it or if it was just ryan because that would take a lot away from it. you also dont' know whether shane does the editing or not.

yeah that's what i thought! my theory is that she wasn't a spy but was involved in some kind of organised crime ring like that one question proposed with the mob and wanted out but felt like she would need to be completely anonymous. it would explain why she would have had the connections to know how to get multiple passports, and dressed nicely aka had money. if she knew the people after her were starting to zero in on her she might have felt there was no way out and wanted to take her life before they could, but they found her anyway.

For anyone who hasn’t been blessed by cooking or labwork, burning by touching a smooth hot surface is a really easy way to erase fingerprints, without visibly affecting anything else so long as you let go of the burny thing fast enough. Takes like a month to get a new set of fingerprints, too. I’m sure there’s better ways, but this one you can recreate by accident.

In my opinion it was suicide, but it did not go the way she wanted.
She wanted to take the pills to numb the pain of the fire, however, the fire was ignited prematurely, before the pills took effect due to the fumes being ignited, not the fuel itself.
