Ｘ⃝The beginning of the story of one of the most charismatic characters of the X-Men.Ｘ⃝
Ｘ⃝ There were no warriors of the XIX - XXI century in which Logan and Creed would not take part in them . Starting from the civil bloodshed of the North and South in America , the First and Second World Wars , to Vietnam and the Middle East, the blood brothers fought as if for the last time, but hundreds of bullets and shells tearing their bodies could not bring death to both Immortals , and only the ancestral enmity between them had the power to defeat their deviated from all biological laws , mutagenic lives ... Which is exactly what happened . Unlike the Sabretooth , Wolverine sought to " anchor " by building a home and family . Tired of the old one, Logan flatly refused to return to it. Creed, on the other hand, never raved about peace , and therefore , the very idea that Logan had finally found what he wanted infuriated the fierce hermit . Having lost his brother , the Sabretooth set out to return the " good old days " at all costs and formed an alliance with the forces that later gave the world the Wolverine that everyone remembered . And for this, Victor must deal with everyone whom Wolverine values... The cool part about the confrontation between Wolverine and Sabretooth.Ｘ⃝
I still laugh hard when this version of Deadpool was in the first Deadpool movie, they even made an action figure

People hated this version for no reason when they could have simply been patient and they would have gotten the version they wanted.
I prefer this one because he is badass and silent.

Nah, in the movies they are different characters with similar powers.
It was pretty cool seeing Logan and Viktor going through 100 years of history: from the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War.
That's my favourite part . Rest of film wasn't the best but i still liked it .
Fun fact, they were going to put a Captain America cameo in the Normandy beach scene, but since Captain America: The First Avenger was in very early stages of production, they couldn't get the rights to him in time and some at Marvel and Fox both said they thought it may be confusing is Cap got a movie soon after this came out. (Also some people involved at the time thought if Fox got the rights to him for the cameo they'd fight to keep him and Marvel wouldn't risk that)
The opening for this movie is still quite solid. Gambit is my favorite X-Men character. To this day I still wish they had included Gambit in more of the movies
Thank god he gets respect in the comics and the animated series lol him and Rogue together is still one of my fav marvel couples

I've been saying we need a Wolverine series that takes place between like the Civil War and Vietnam Each season deals with a different war and Logan's struggle to connect with people knowing they'll all just die anyway.

I know a lot of people hate this movie. But I like it because it gives those of us who didn't grow up reading the comics a surprisingly good idea of the life Wolverine led.

@@oswie5559 How was it an insult? The "Barakapool" was intended to be similar to the original appearance of the character before being changed into the one we know.

3:42 this is one of the best scenes in the movie and it shows us just how old both Logan and his brother are, having fought in all the american wars, starting from the very first.

Here begins one of the best friendships Marvel has ever had, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are great when they are together, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the beginning of the Logan Trilogy and it is a great movie. It will be great to see them together again in Deadpool & Wolverine! 😎🔥

You've seen his brother already, Victor Creed was played by a different actor in X-Men (2000) and only went by his mutant name, Sabretooth.
5:08 proves how good the writing is. Stryker tested the waters to see just what he could say to control them, for Victor it was "I know how special you are" which Wolverine didn't respond positively to that, so he used the "how would you like to REALLY serve your country?" to play on Logan's want to be of use and to do the right thing.
After watching all the X-Men you should rewatch Days of Futures Past. It will probably hit you harder!

While not perfect, the Wolverine trilogy only gets better
Maybe this is common knowledge and I'm just fan-splaining here, but The Three Mile Island accident was an actual incident in 1979. It was a technical failure at a nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania. They used it the same way they used the Cuban Missile Crisis in the story in First Class. A little revisionist history to give the mutant factor of this world some historical significance.

In this movie Hugh Jackman is giving early Sylvester Stallone. Not a bad look for him. In fact all the Wolverine movies he looked his best. He’s grown into his looks. (No disrespect intended). And that little cameo in the x-men reboot at the bar. 👌🏽
I can't believe it, Magy and Laura react to my favorite Wolverine movie, and yes, many say it's bad, but to me it seems entertaining and poorly executed, but it's my favorite superhero

Hey, Magy and Laura. Now I know that "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" was probably the least movie of the X-Men franchise as a prequel. But I really enjoyed it. I thought it was so entertaining. The action scenes were exciting, the effects looks okay, especially Logan's claws. I also thought Logan was an incredibly badass. Even Victor Creed was a great villain. A pointless film, but a guilty pleasure. Thumbs up for me on "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".

magy, in america, we have a holiday called Memorial day where we are supposed to remember people who died in wars, but i like to watch movies about memory and remembering on that day, so like Total Recall, or this movie is sort of about memories

I don't know if you've heard about X-Men '97, but you really gotta see it. It kind of helps if you watch the 90s animated X-Men series considering it's a modern continuation of it, but I don't think it's absolutely mandatory. I went straight in not remembering much about the series and I was fine. The whole series is on Disney+. What they did with '97 is unbelievable. I think it changes the way people will think of animated shows.

magy in the comic books Remy Lebeau (Gambit) is in love with Rogue, they turned Rogue into a young teen in the Xmen movie but she should have been a woman in her twenties or thirties in that movie an adult along side of Storm and Scott and Jean, and she can suck peoples powers, and in the Xmen cartoon from 1992, she could fly and had super strength, she got those powers after she touched Carol Danvers too long, i don't know why she was touching her , but you can leave that up to your imagination

It always makes me laugh when she said she was given hydrochlorothiazide to appear dead. That drug is a simple diuretic used to treat fluid retention. Maybe she peed to death.
They probably used it because it sounded like a lethal drug and not many people will know what it actually is

When they first announced X-Men Origins: Wolverine, they were supposed to also do a X-Men Origins: Magneto. Because the X-Men films weren't as popular and didn't make enough movie for the studio it was cancelled. Would have been interesting seeing a Magneto being the main character in a movie.
First Class is the Origins for both Magneto and Professor X.

magy we still don't have a sequel to this movie to show how Wolverine got his yellow suit, he looks like that Pikachu when he puts it on, it is yellow with black stripes , i think he met a team of superheroes in Canada before he met the Xmen, and that is where he got that suit, i never read the comic book about that canadian team of heroes
i don't think i have read a whole Deadpool comic book, i might have seen one in the 90s, i think he might have had thought balloons around his head, that would explain if he had no mouth

This movie has obvious flaws, but the actors in it really give everything they have

this movie is not one of the best, but it has one of the best openings ever. Logan and Victor living through every major war involving America should have been the full movie lol.
People hate this movie for dumb reasons. They complained about how Deadpool was "messed up" or "not comic accurate". However, he wasn't messed up or inaccurate at all. He was similar to his original appearance before being changed to mouthy version everyone loves. The only issue with this movie is that they completely wasted one of the best X-Men characters, Gambit, and never brought him into any other movies.
Trust me, Deadpool was never the problem. This movie even could have worked with that version of Deadpool. The problem was, basically everything. Bad effects, bad action scenes, mediocre script and and insult of a Wolverine origin. No violence at all, they even didn't tried to push a little the PG-13 (unlike X-Men 2, The Wolverine, DOFP or the Weapon X scene from Apocalypse). The only drop of blood was from his girlfrield and turned out to be fake. The movie felt cheap, like Daredevil or Elektra, Fantastic Four, Catwoman, etc. The adamantium injection arc was awful (X2 did it miles better). It featured no Weapon X arc, now that is an insult to Wolverine's lore. His amnesia being a product of an adamantium bullet instead of the Weapon X program? Yikes! The Team X could have been epic, but it was just one scene with zero impact. This movie had some much potential, but ended up a mess with cameos that never had any to do with Logan's origin, such as Gambit, Cyclops, Blob, (cool characters wasted in the wrong movie). Thanks god later we got The Wolverine and Logan, which are insanely superior films than this one. Again, I didn't talk about Deadpool, because for me, that wasn't even a problem but the rest of the movie. Actually this movie's videogame was everything it should have been, and yes, it featured Barakapool, so that was never the problem.
The only good thing I can think about this movie is Lieb Schreiber's performance, only his acting and charisma, because his character felt also so wasted (brother's Wolverine? LOl!).
You 2 should watch The Hitman's Bodyguard with Ryan Reynolds too after these you will like it.
The first like, half of the movie is better than i remember. Quiet solid. Sure it falls off a cliff right after but hey, at least it had good parts at the start xd

Of these three films based on wolvie, I do like this one much more than the other two. For most I think it is the third that peps like, but I really didn't like that one at all. I don't see myself ever watching it a second time. The second film was not very good either but I would have to say it landed better for me.

Even though this version of Deadpool was far from comic book accurate, you gotta admit he’s still pretty bada**. Though I miss his one of a kind wisecracks.
Actually, he's fairly comic accurate to the original appearance of Deadpool before he was changed into the one we know. A post-credit scene swt this version to return as that version, but people couldn't be patient enough for that set up to be capitalized on for some reason.

I liked the firt half of that movie. The second half was pretty bad but watching Magic & Foxy made it bearable.

The start of the film to the credits is the best part of this film.
The linear story of just Wolverine and Sabretooth was great too but everything around it was pathetic.

The fact that this movie showed an opening montage that would've been a better movie than the one we actually got is so disappointing. Seeing Logan go though those moments would've been such a better story.

This movie's like a soap opera, you know you shouldn't like it that much, it's overly dramatic, and people die then undie, and relationships are confusing, but you still like it anyways. 😎

The videogame is definitely better but the movie had some stand-out stuff with the opening scene montage and Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth.
