I got a question for you. I’ve noticed that you have both the forest and the splitting ax. I have their finnish splitting maul on order. Do you feel like getting a splitting ax In addition to the maul would be a waste of money? I was looking for more of an all-arounder to go with the splitting maul
@@blakeg7062 Hey! I have swung the splitting maul in country. It's big but not super heavy. Hard to say without knowing how you plan to use them. For cutting up trees into rounds with a saw, I would recommend one of the felling axes to compliment it. The splitting axe punches above it's size but a feller gives you more flexibility. That all being said, if all you are doing with any of them is splitting cut rounds, then the splitting axe would be my pick.
How is this at chopping and do you know if there is a queue where are you have to wait before pre-ordering
It's a great chopper, probably better at that than a splitter!
They historically have a year or two wait.
