- Here's five ways to add guitar fills between your chords using the major pentatonic scale. Get your Guitar Pro/PDF tabs and backing track as a member on PATREON: / five-way-to-add-92733577
The key to adding lead guitar fills between chords is to be confident with seeing the pentatonic scale, both horizontally up the strings and vertically in a playing position. I'll show you everything you need to know to get started.

Um. This is EXACTLY what needed. Excellent video, great visuals, you didn’t kill is with a buildup at the beginning. This most certainly earns a like and subscribe.
I find that I get more out of this video as I practice, forget about it, grow in my playing and then watch it again noticing how much more sense it makes. I can’t wait to watch this again in another 6 months 😎🫶🏽
Perfect, tnx man ;)
Well done lesson. Nice pace and presentation.
Incredibly interesting and helpful ! Thank you for sharing !
I’ve been waiting for this!!!! Thank you
Hope it was worth the wait! 🙏🏼
This is an amazing video and deserves a million views and likes. This video helped to see it all in a better light.
On occasion I even hit the major 7th note at times and it really added some pop to it.
Excellent. Thanks
You are welcome!
The tab is fantastic!
This was really helpful!
I'm so glad!
That was really good
Great lesson!!! Been playing a long time and just had the light bulb moment putting together the caged system and the major and minor pentatonic. Great how you explained the shapes. I don't know how I just found your site, but sure glad I did and I'll be subscribing to your Patreon page!
Thanks so much!
Nice lesson, thank you
You're very welcome
Great lesson subbed
Thanks for the sub!
Thank you
nice lesson!!
Thanks! 😃
Very useful lesson at the end of it can play something that sounds good
Great to hear, thanks 🙏🏼
great video
Thanks!
So close! I was good with no tab until the last example!
Very good. Unfortunately, some parts not explained in the last example 😞
OK, I know you're not the only one who does this, but I find it confusing following the tutorial because the diagram of the guitar neck doesn't sync with the video (the bottom 6th string is at the bottom in the diagram of the guitar neck but at the top in the video plus the neck is the other way round). What do other people think?
I've discussed this in previous lesson comment feeds and (unfortunately) I have no intention of changing my approach. The fretboard diagrams are presented so they match what you see on your fretboard as you play (unless you're left-handed). This is the standard approach for all guitar instructional material 🙏🏼
For me it's like watching a teacher and reading tab. Both views make perfect sense.
Hi from Phoenix, Arizona. Good vid but hard to follow when vid and fretboard are opposite to each other. Another UK UA-camr Jules Guitar makes his vids easy to follow as f/board and vid are synced together. Anyway, appreciate you putting this together……
will check out your channel and may sub.
Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏻
