Kevin Costner is a perfect example of a good leader of this herd who can do a lot for the film to ensure a positive social reception of the story, which is seen through the eyes of the director who once danced with wolves, so he has the instinct and knowledge of a proud predator who wants to be on top and show the best in the world.

Watched Horizon today --- it felt like a streaming show. i don't like streaming shows! They are always juggling multiple character stories in the most disjointed ways (because i guess modern viewers lose attention otherwise?) and everyone is always mumbling. in modern serialized drama we have plots on plots --- the entertainment is more about layers of intrigue than anything else, but to me there's a difference between yarn spinning and good storytelling. Am i too harsh? isn't Horizon just more Yellowstone et al? i liked Horizon just fine, honestly, but i was anticipating a return to 90s style cinema storytelling --- something i think James Cameron is doing WAY better with his Avatar flicks (owing much to Dances With Wolves, of course). Avatar (and Dances) works on emotion first, intrigue second and carries us through a broad range of light and heavy feelings that are ultimately working on ONE clear narrative --- we get proper beginnings, middles, and ends serving the unique satisfaction of the grand romantic cinema experience.
Horizon is the fruit of passion and a deep belief in how much history can influence the present and its perception. It disregards nothing and no one except the holistic amnesia of the masses among which unique figures take the trouble to resurrect them, and the word is its basis on which every artistically sublime scenario is based. dedicated to the tenth muse in tribute to her for caring for and setting the direction in which cinema is heading from time to time, and belief in it causes a real flow of energy between the molecules of good and evil emotions, the opposing primary feelings of this world, on the basis of which an infinity of subsequent ones is built, so so the saying From Here to Eternity is, as it were, an echo of the future bouncing off the frames of the past, accumulated here and now, giving the recipient a whole spectrum of what they can afford today.
