I like that you chose grey instead of black. I like the green it broke into. I also like how it looks like smoke in the fire 🔥. Perfect contrast. Also using yellow instead of straight alcohol to breakup the colors was a good move. It moved the color without creating a bald spot. Have you considered doing a peekaboo version? Excellent!!
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle my son is a Deputy Chief. He started out as a volunteer years ago. The fires we are having here in California is brutal. Where can I find your store?
I dont have a true online store now I do my occasional sales here and Facebook then I send things to retail. And I take a few selective custom orders. I was an active volunteer for a while now I've stepped back to just auxiliary.i didn't have time to take enough classes and keep up on training!
These 2 were supposed to go in tonight/tomorrows sale but they arent quite ready and honestly got a few specs of glitter and may have gotten a slight dusting of chameleon so I am going to hold them out for retail. I'd rather people really see the flaws lol.
It could be too much ink, not enough epoxy, too much epoxy, too much heat there's so many reasons it can fish eye when doing these. I almost always get at least 1 but typically 2 or 3 dimples...
Sooo pretty, those colors, wow! Favor, I don't have a cutting machine but can you tell me where I can find those awesome decals? I watch you all the time and have learned so much! Thank you!!!
So I never do any 2 the same I grab 1 or two each of reds, oranges and yellows... then a darker color a brown or a grey that I may or may not actually end up using. I go through so many reds and yellows they never end up exactly the same my go to if I only had 1 each is crimson for red, sunshine yellow and sunset orange then maybe a few drops of slate for the dark
Can you email me. raechase@gmail.com I dont because the seller doesn't sell them anymore, I know people have been finding them by googling firefighter silhouette etc....
Cool technique. ❤ the result.

A peekaboo would be nice.
@Oonagh72 thanks so much I always love making these and they always end up just a bit different!
@Angela Baldwin I do a peekaboo version with smoke effect. These in this shape and style are always one of my best sellers though!

When I use my inks they ALWAYS repel the epoxy, making divots everywhere on my project. I use the same that you are and I can't figure it out.

Make sure you are wiping it down with alcohol to take all of the oils from your hands off of the tumbler. Hope this helps.

I'd search etsy for decals. I've never bought vinyl ones like this so I'm not sure. Sorry! 🧡
Omg, I do my alcohol ink the same way as you do. I love it.
Can’t wait to watch more of your videos.
Welcome to my channel you will learn inks are pretty much my favorite medium to work with! However glitter is my favorite to shop for 🤣
Those turned out really nice!!
Some of my faves to make!
What are all the inks that you used

Hi Rae these tumblers are beautiful and have always wanted to try doing this technique. Could you send a link for the svgs that you used please? 😊
