I'm really not surprised that you only have 428 followers. Truth is not interesting to the 'MANY'. The narrow road contains very few. I am one of your 428 subs. I was blown away by your exegesis of this widely misinterpreted scripture. I was trained to recognize truth (proper hermanuetics) on the narrow road, which suits v e r y few. Thank you for these expositions in scripture.... The Holy Spirit led me to your channel and I will consume ALL of your content like fresh manna, my brother in Christ. There is a remnant that the Lord has entrusted the truth to. Not these so called modern day "Apostles".... That's shameful.... Keep hearing from the Lord and don't stop posting. Some of us out here are hungry for the objective, unbiased, raceless, cultureless, truth of God's word, as the original writers intended.
I appreciate your kind words. Most have a love or hate response to the kinds of teaching we do. It’s usually pastors and teachers that are the most resistant. But we carry on.
When a child is young & living at home it is both parents who are to teach the child not just the mother ... some children go to church because they are made to go especially more so as a teenager, not because they want to be there ... as they enter & go through high school, by the time they finish - a lot of times they want to leave home because of having been made to go to church ... as children go through the phases of getting older, they see how they are treated by the elders & minister's children & what those children are given materialistically & if you unfortunately are unable to give your child the kind of things others get you constantly have to explain why. Once in high school - their life changes & so does the parents... all a parent can do is their best of understanding what is the correct way. Once they leave home, parents no longer have influence over their children. All you can do is try to talk to them, pray for them & do what you can but once they leave parents need to let them live their own life they choose whether we like it or not. Sorry to say, that's just the way it is.
"according to his way" Each of my three children are very different in character. Each responds differently to education, nurturing, discipline, etc. As parents we need to understand our childs character and teach them in a way that best suits their character.
Praise the Lord. Thank you for this video. I pray the Holy Spirit will move you to go into details of the "ways" to train a child for christians parents that need more details.
Take God Almighty at His word. ( proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4) my nephew at age 5 was accused of stealing a students lunch money. This infuriated my nephew, and he responded by quoteing the 8th commandment of God's law. " Thou shalt not steal" when he arrived home after school he was still very upset and informed everyone what had happened. Shortly after he had cooled down he let all of us know He was going to be a preacher when he grew up and tell everyone about Gods rules. Yes! in his childhood and esp.his teens he followed after the world view on several occasions. You could say he " sowed his wild oats" like many youth do, but through all of his misadventures the Lord Jesus was with him. Guiding him and keeping his mind on the promise he had made. He became a minister of the gospel for Jesus Our Lord in his mid 20's and has told many souls about GOD'S Law and declared God word to many who hunger and thirst after righteousness. I believe Christ Jesus' word means exactly as he says and He does keep his promises in full measure.
It also gives an understanding to DO NOT SPOIL their children for the season that they will never ever hear the discipline of their parents, especially when they are conscious enough about anything.
It doesn’t quite say what you’re saying. It means this; Give instruction/discipline a child in a path/direction/course/habit and in his old age he will still keep to it. The verse says nothing of “the right way”, nor does it say the child’s own preferred way or of foolishness. Rather it simply is telling us that whatever path we train into a child, he will still be on it when he is older. Instruction, discipline, habit making and training happen in more ways than we tend to realize. We perhaps might think that our deliberate methods are training, but the reality is that we are teaching and training and instructing our children in many ways by our own actions. Hypocrisy gives way to hypocrisy. Self-righteousness breeds more self-righteousness. Be intentional… like really intentional about how you want to train your kids. When they are old they will retain that instruction.
The whole point of this video is to show how this text is a warning not a promise. Yes you should do as you are saying but that is not what this verse actually says even though it is encouraging that.
proverb: a short popular saying, usually of unknown and ancient origin, that expresses effectively some commonplace truth or useful thought; adage; saw. First recorded in 1275-1325; Middle English proverbe, from Middle French, from Latin prōverbium “adage,”. a traditional saying expressing a common experience or observation... proverbs should be removed from the bible, and here's why: "a child who gets their own way and brings shame to their mother", makes the assumption that mothers are always right and children are always wrong. obviously this is incorrect. i assume something can't be incorrect if it was written or inspired by god.
Proverbs are wisdom Literature. They are generally true they are not wholesale promises from God. They can make a person wise and have understanding to live a life that avoids folly and chooses wisdom. Again not promises just wise advice.

truth doesn't make money. doctor means falsify, and they make 570,000% profit on xanax.
It means to teach them manners, good standards. Give them instructions It starts in the home. Help them to be respectful responsible. 😊❤ Blessings

@@biblicalliteracy2tim2 “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” is a good proverb. it still doesn't belong in the bible.
I didn't know this, humm, I wonder why it isn't translated this way
@@biblicalliteracy2tim2 understandable. maybe there needs to be a shift in studying the bible
