The word qol, is always used for sound, voice or noise or sound, that could be any sound, not specifically thunder. When it comes to halak, this word is used for walking or moving specifically, here you’re just stacking on meaning, to fit your personal view. For yom , it is only used as referring to the current state of time, or the current day, not weather. Ruach means wind, the spirit of God is referred to as wind. Even with the context , the translation still stands since these words are used with the same meaning in different contexts in scripture.
I perceive Genesis 3:8 literally means that Jesus was walking through the garden. If people start chipping away, adding and subtracting, at the Bible then you are left with only a fairy tale. When Jesus speaks in parables the Bible tells us Jesus is speaking in parables. Moreover, Jesus doesn't speak to His disciples in parables, we just understand Him. Matthew 13:10-12 The Purpose of Parables 10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to 👉* them* in parables?” Jesus is God.
I dont agree with his translation. God came in a great storm thrashing wind ,and then he calls out where are you my children why are you hiding . I dont think so .
Thank you for your interesting conjecture. The only part which doesn't sound right is God thrashing his way through the garden, because "thrashing" in that context suggests someone loosing their temper or behaving in an immature way, which God wouldn't do. My thought on this passage is God was walking through the garden, and as he did so he would greet the animals and talk to them, he pat them, talk to them, and rub their neck and show them signs of affection, and of course they'd be full of delight, so there'd be lots of joyful trumpeting, barking, birds calling, etc, because they were with their creator.
It always amazes me how guys think they know better than the accumulated expertise, scholarship and wisdom of hundreds of godly, prayerful translation committee members over the centuries. If he had said, “It could possibly mean…,” that would be an acceptable contribution to the dialog, but, no, he announces that “This is what it really means,” as if he alone knows best.

That Lord walking in the garden wasn't God the Father. God is All knowing. The "Lord" walking in the garden called out to Adam to locate him. God the Father wouldn't have had to do that, because he would have already knew where he was... That Lord was Chaos, who cursed Adam based on his fear and pride. Adam knew the truth and in fear he threw his love away. Separating himself from the Father God. God of Truth. Praise him 🙏..

Thank you. It totally makes sense and I recognize it’s consistency with other theophanies now. Like Pentecost. I appreciate this!
Thank you man,
this passage stumped me. You cleared it up! 📖

So, basically, you're saying the Bible can't mean what it says because God can't do that because He is God.
