I got a dog from my wife. She's a German Shepherd named Syndulla. She is very reactive to cars. She meets other dogs and follows commands, but when a car passes, she tries to catch the wheels. Good video Ethan, on the foundational aspect of engagement. I believe millions of dog owners could benefit from a video on the detrimental and pervasive impact of free feeding. Many dog owners just don't understand the importance of using food as a means of motivating a dog. I have seen many satiated dogs that simply ignore their owners attempts at training.
Yeah.... I tend to agree with you. I'd also like to see a video on this topic. But, I think at the end of the day, most dog owners simply will not make the time to use that method. It's way easier to just fill the bowl and go about their day

All your puppy is such a sweet, laid-back German shepherd. Is he from American lines
a prong collar? That means that the dog will feel pain, when you put tension on the leash?
If you yank it but not if you put light pressure on it.
