Appreciated. Nice stove. I have always used a isopro stove. But, I want one of those wood burning stoves. I have a review on an alcohol stove on my channel. That is as close as I have gotten to switch to the woods stoves. You have awesome crafting skills.✌️
@@ASTHECROWFLIESHIKING The wood stoves are a great addition to the kit. I tend to use the alcohol stove quite a lot nowadays due to the ease of use and weight etc. But for overnighters and camping trips, I like to take the wood stoves, then I know I will have enough fuel around to last until I go home. Love your videos! I ended up purchasing a Frost River Boulder Summit pack after seeing yours on a couple of videos. It’s a great pack! It would be fantastic if you provide links to some of the equipment that you use in your videos, such as the carving knives, packs, clothing, etc. Thanks again for sharing your adventures and knowledge with us.

Always entertaining and informative. I've learned a lot from you in the past year, and I thank you for that. My leather working is improving as are my knife sharpening skills. I credit you for most of that. My daughter got me an early Christmas gift - A Trangia burner! I've been playing with that and I can't wait to take it out to the woods for a nice brew or a cup of soup. Looking forward to the next one and good luck with the charity. I will post it over to you on the 3rd of Jan. If I sent it in between Christmas and New year, you never seem to know where it is, or if the services are shut for holidays etc. It shouldn't take too long once it is posted. So to paraphrase Michelangelo when he was asked how he got David from a block of marble, you are taking a piece of wood and removing everything that is not a spatula, and that's where the skill lies, unfortunately I don't seem to have either the imagination or the hand eye coordination to do that that's why I'm grateful for Etsy. I love carving and the thought of it, but just have trouble mainly in where to hold said item being carved whilst shaving etc with the knife! had a few close calls with the brand new mora haha
I dig the ben oreford range but got a huge shock when checking the prices, they look great though!
By the way, Dunelm sells a food safe wood oil which is usually £10 but sometimes they doa 50% off all items before Xmas.

Good morning Chris...… Merry Christmas mate :) I know what you mean, my last carving accident put me in hospital for 2 days. I cut through the tendons in my hand and had to wait for surgery. I will check out the oil in Dunelm's, we have a couple near by. I sometimes make my own with beeswax and coconut oil. I then use it on steel, wood and leather.
