Sadly, no free stock asset in this tutorial guys. The last time I did it, my designs kept getting stolen. It's literally a 1:1 copy of them flooding on Instagram claiming it's their own design. It's sickening. I'm giving out free knowledge that can help you generate income, the least you can do is not ripping me off. Especially to some of my Indian, Indonesian & Brazillian subscribers, please do better.
Thanks for watching and much ❤
This is sad to read man. You're doing great and as an AD & Graphic designer it helps me a lot to find new perspectives and way to create cool designs !
as an indonesian this is really sad to hear. really sorry for the behavior of the other indonesians. anyways, still love your tutorials! keep makin em
My dude calling out according to countries, geez... Do better...
@@sheldonsiegar had to do it 😢
@@sheldonsiegar It has to be known. They need to do better!
Dixon, you are the best, I learned a lot from you, especially about the threshold effect, you are truly an inspiring person, thank you man🙏🏻
loved❤
thank you for the tutorial, I think this technique can be a method of making designs, I really like using the threshold effect because it's easy to apply to various images
Easy but overused tbh. Always think about improving yourself when it comes to designs, never settle for mediocrity🔥
Thanks man
this video is inspiring.
thank you
i most definitely learnt something, i’m a brand designer and i’m trying to grow my portfolio so i’m learning apparel design
glad to know brother you got this
nice bro

NICE

I agree 🤝
Thank you very much

Hooooly, this a better version of the threshold!
been saying this since forever, but people too lazy to learn 😅
wow that's very cool
I know right?? 🔥🔥
thank for quality content
you're welcome g
the thing with color range select from the end of the video works if we want to save the file and send it to the printing service ? or how cand we do it if we have a black based design. Thanks
please make front and back version
Dixons the goat no 🧢

How did you get the black on the layer back when you put it on the mock up? Mine has every colour except the blacks
Sir are the steps same even if we are using a windows laptop

hi Dixon,
Great video as always 💪🏾💯
a question tho;
I’d really appreciate if you could educate me a bit on which printing method you think is best(quality) and maybe the cheapest for us designers, that’d want to get into tshirt(merch) printing like you. Thanks :-)
I think DTG has better printing than screenprinting. The cheapest would be DTF but the quality is very bad imo. Another alternative is try Print on Demand services like Printful or Printify.
aight man
thanks a lot
Much appreciated 💪🏾💯
i really like how you set up your mock up, and although i could do the same with any shirt using the old dispalce trick. i wanna know how yours works. So if you could make a paid mock up template , just add shirt here or something , it would be nice.
The mockup you see in the video is available for purchase on my store: intuitivedesignsmy.gumroad.com/l/VeriT
@@IntuitiveDesigns can i switch the shirt for another ?
@@ANGEL-fg4hv no you cant 😅
@@IntuitiveDesignsWill the mockup have the same format designations (A2, A3) as in the video?
thank you .can you do 2 videos tutorial a week 😀🙏
We’ll see
Shit, thats fucking awesome
hii you are so helpful, may i suggest for u to create something like this in a tote bag?
same process if you're designing for a tote bag
Hey man!! Love the content been such a big help recently. I’m busy looking for best website/supplier to get the Heavyweight T shirts from - what do you recommend?
you're gonna have to do your own research on that because I don't know what kind of fit you like. I almost always answer rue porter but they also run out of stock and shipping is too fkn slow.
Wow the end result was amazing. Can I change the colour of the shirt if I purchase the mock?
thanks and for that mockup you cant change color, but I got one that can here: intuitivedesignsmy.gumroad.com/l/xtbki?layout=profile
@@IntuitiveDesigns thanks so much! Is there a difference between the two shirts besides this one being colour interchangeable?
Q.1 - I do my designs in Photoshop and I'm new at this. They suggest that we use CMYK instead of RGB when designing, because the colors may vary in printing. Should I do this? I don't want the colors to change in printing, I want the colors I use in the design to be the same as possible on the t-shirt and to be of good quality, can you tell me what to do?
Q.2 What size should I use during the design so that my design will be printed in the highest quality? (such as A3, A4, Poster)
1) If your print shop tells you to design in CMYK, then do that. I design in sRGB because my manufacturer's printer allows that.
2) This depends on you, the most common size is A3 but if you have the budget for it then go for A2. That's more than enough already.
@@IntuitiveDesigns thank you so much bro
I'm confused when giving color, when I try only 1 color can be replaced, other colors do not change
why the glow and colors being changed after I merged all of the layers? anyone know how to fix it?
Hi, Dixon! That was really dope, thank you! Could you please heIp, I have a lil problem, the inner glow on my main picture (as the robot in your case) under those solid colors just doesn’t come out, what it could be?
did you set the blending mode in dissolve? it could be that you still set yours in screen which is the default setting.
@@IntuitiveDesigns Yep, that's it! Thanks a lot man!
I need the font bro
hey man, i’m wondering if the mockup works on something other then photoshop, i’m not sure if the mockup would work on gimp or only photoshop,
thanks
Only works for photoshop because its file format is PSD
Hello, not trying to be that person or anything of that nature but I wanted to ask if you had a tutorial on how we can create a tshirt mock up with the effects & settings, like how you have your .psd file setup used in this video. Respectfully asking of curious. I don't see videos on creating the tshirt mockup template like how you have yours set up, again not trying to take anything away just wanted to reach out and ask. Thanks for your time.
I did make a mockup tutorial before ua-cam.com/video/inwBkDaa5zI/v-deo.html but not like this one. I went the extra mile to refine everything to achieve the realistic look.
@@IntuitiveDesigns TY 🙏🏾
Hey bro ! Great design ! Can you send me the link to download the modeled mockup !!
It’s in the description but here you go: intuitivedesignsmy.gumroad.com/l/VeriT
@@IntuitiveDesigns Yeah i know that mockup, i mean that mockup with a guy wearing the t-shirt, Please send me the link to buy it
May I ask how to print the designed picture on the T-shirt at last?
You send it to your manufacturer? lmao
i love this design, but i have one big issue: i have zero clue how to export this without the black background. merging ruins the outer glow effect, and it keeps the solid colour layers behind the image either way. i may be dumb, but i can't figure out how to merge everything while keeping it the same
did you watch the video until the end? don't skip the part at 8:46 I show you how to do it
@@IntuitiveDesignswow i can’t believe i missed that- thank you for replying though. i did watch it all the way through but somehow completely missed that
Hey where is a good place to get aesthetic logos/images for a clothing brand?
for logos you'd have to create yourself or hire someone to do it. for free stock images, go to sites like Unsplash, Pixabay, or Pexels. NEVER USE GOOGLE.
What's a good pod?
I'd suggest FUEL if you want cheaper prices. Printful if you don't care about customization, just all print and business. It's a very competitive market honestly, you couldn't go wrong with any of the famous ones.
Hey bro, is there anyway i can save my work as a png file? Because I'm not getting too
Before you save it as PNG you have to get rid of the black background first. I explain it at 8:46 how to do it
Hey bro what is the process for exporting when the background is white instead of black?
I have black in the design and I want that to be included
If that's the case, then just turn off the black background before you merge all the selected layers into one. I've made a video about saving files for printing, you can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/MFgO9ieUF9E/v-deo.html
r these r good for dtf printing
Of course
i have one question, if i do a tshirt design using a image from internet, will i have problems with copyright?
As long as you get the images from free stock sites that allow commercial use, you’re fine. Go to sites like Unsplash or Pexels for free stocks. NEVER USE GOOGLE OR PINTEREST
@@IntuitiveDesigns thank you for answering so quickly! im gonna subscribe on your channel now 🩷
where u find the image asset?
and what the keyword
Why? so you can steal it?
Is that an A3 size?

anyone know how to export it as png? why i always get background?
just turn off the background and you’re set. It’s in the video man
ah i got it thank you
