- We install and review a paddle shifter upgrade kit on a 2011 ford f150. This kit is compatible with most 2011-2014 f150 trucks. It relocated the manual shifter / selector from the center console to the steering wheel.

Might have to pick this up!! Great video!!
You should!
Bud that's awesome. Gonna look into it. Thanks for sharing. Just subbed🤘🏼
Anytime!
Pretty cool kit. Coming from Edge Sport and Triptronic shifter gate on my Pajero, it was one of the first things I thought of when I jumped into my Raptor. Going to add that to the wish list. 😎🍻
You will love em
I think I'm going to look at doing this to a 2021!
You should be able to get the parts from a raptor because they came on 2018+ raptors
Can i do this if my shift lever is on the steering column?
How different is it installing this on a collum shifter truck like an XLT?
unsure of the compatibility with a column shifter truck
What smart truck tech should i review next?
So do you know if I can use the aftermarket steering wheel that comes with paddle shifters with this kit and if you don’t know do you think you could find out by trying to do it yourself?
Not sure, you should contact the owner at frostbite fabrications
I have the kit (v2), everything is great so far, but I have a question related to your trucks downshifting.
What's the highest RPM that you've been able to downshift into? I've been unable able to down shift too aggressively past say 3.5k rpm sometimes and I'm wondering if a tune would solve this.
thanks a good question. I feel like ive gotten to 4k... but I think those are dependent on each gear/speed. I would need to check. Also if a tune would fix it... I have one on the way I can try in 2-3 weeks :)
after some testing today turns out I was able to shift into 2nd from 3rd and I war 4.5k in 2nd... which was just under 3.5k in 3rd so you just have to slow down so it doesnt readline the during downshift
@@BeyondTheRaptor I was testing it more and was able to get a max of 4k into 2nd, but nothing higher sadly. Same goes for higher gears. I know tuners come with a rev limiter feature, but I'm not sure if that would solve it.
I think the engine could definitely handle the occasional red line, but sadly I can't downshift anywhere close to that, I can only get there by accelerating.
Not doing that
More useful than RGB headlights. Why would you.
