Thank you, I am from Germany and the American old school fitness industry is completely new to me. I'm born in 96 and my dad did bodybuilding when I was little. I have a Joe Weider book from him but that's it. I would be happy to see other videos from you talking/ showing magazines or videos about the 90s and 80s. I am a science based new school Bodybuilder 🤫 but I really like the mindset and looks of the 80s and 90s.
Tom Platz is my idol, I know him because he's often in Germany and Switzerland .
I've still got a few copies myself, memories.😀😀😀😀
This popped up as a recommended video and I couldn’t help noticing it’s “old school” and I had every damn one of those magazines.
Do you still have the magazines?
Nice collection! I have around 300 or so of these dating back to 1962. Mr. America mag in the 60's was 25 cents! Have several of those plus Muscle Builder, Strength & Health along with Iron Man mags. I'm 74 now and still working out 4-5 days per week. Once you're hooked it's like you can't stop.
Bitten by the Iron Bug !
Nice 👊 Robert Kennedy musclemag was the best and I have loads of 90s magazines. Loved the golds gym/ Venice beach gossip columns.
I got a few 1990s magazines myself, loved reading them, and looking at the pictures, I'm gonna have to look at them again.
Former muscletecher here... I also have many of these mags from about 5 yrs later. The good old days... I remember the yates photoshoot. Was shocking at the time
Have heard some epic MuscleTech Chris Cormier stories!
So nice to watch them! 👌👌👌
Have most of them 😎
That was an awesome bodybuilding magazine review.
Please do some with the 1950’s-1960’s era bodybuilding magazines. Those are my favorite eras in bodybuilding.
💪💪💪🏆
Oldest Magazine I have is from the 70’s.
The Golden Era Bookworm Channel has some 50’s and 60’s mags.
Awesome video Ryan. Brought back some great memories.
Is this Alex Ardenti the photographer?
@@28DayNewYou Yes sir. I think I'm the only Alex Ardenti in the world that I could find. Really love the video brother!
I bought MUSCLE & FITNESS back in the 80's!!!🙂🙂👊👊
Was my favourite mag, I did buy Musclemag, bit too hard-core but still good, Stallone & Van DAMME were my main Inspirations!!
The good old days
Great video thanks! Was that Andreas Munzer if I had to guess?
Thx for watching. Not Munzer.
Hint: Shirley
1rst WBF show 1991 was not drug tested. 2nd one from that mag was drug tested. They only did high fat cause they werent allowed juice.. Eddie Robinson should have been 2nd in the first wbf show but was fixed
Thx for the info. Major Guns Eddie Robinson was awesome in contest shape. I think he’s training in Vegas now…
