Jimmy, I pay as much attention to your riding technique as the review and tech on your build. I have to say you practice what you teach in the school. The stuff I practice from what was taught has helped me immensely!! I have slowed way down practicing balance and lots of braking drills. Riders should really take note and practice using the foot dab instead of paddling.
Would a G2 throttle tube help with your driveability issue? I used one on my WR450F to help tame the "twitchyness" after going to the competition ECU. Tuning the ECU and the G2 throttle tube softened the initial power delivery to my liking . Sounds like you may need to go the other direction (different cam on the throttle tube).
Jimmy, is there a throttle lock that you recommend? I don't see one on your bike. My throttle hand gets numb in under 2 hrs. with stock T7 bars and heated grips. Maybe your Flexx Bar/Pro Grip combo handles that issue? Thanks!
Jimmy, I’m coming off an ‘08 990 Adventure S. Agonizing over whether to get an Africa Twin or Tenere. Help! BDR type riding, very aggressive off road, often super slab it to the BDR route. What’s the word: Tenere or Africa Twin. I’m on my second 990, so it’s time to move into the future… It’s telling that you’ve gone from the 950 to the Tenere. But I’m looking for some expert opinion. Thanks.
My buddy has those pegs, I rode his and liked them. Maybe this is a stupid question, but do they ever seem too big when returning your foot from a dab? Like missing the top of the peg and hitting the bottom?? or does muscle memory take over?? Like you I have a bunch of standard dirt bikes and those pegs are noticeably bigger and maybe take some time to get used to?? Thanks
You really get use to it but the whole bike is wider than an normal dirt bike as well.... I fun these pegs on some of the rally set-up KTM500s I ride as well. More comfort/leverage.

We appreciate that!
Great Review !! Thanks.

Question for TTTT:
What modifications would it take to turn a T7 into something approaching your HP2?
Tonight episode #212
Yo! How's that YZ125 in the background? :)

I do not use them but my good buddy Paul Neff uses the Atlas one and recommends it.

Hey Jimmy, what grips are those on the Tenere?
Pro grip rally grips. He mentions in the video.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Thank you Jimmy. Will you guys be modding a Kove 450?
At this time there are no plans for that, sorry.
Are you running tubes?
Yes, Kenda Heavy Duty, but not the Super Heavy Duty.
What front tire are you running
Kenda Big Block @kendatiresusa
Dialed!
Not just yet... I have some more things for sure because I have never ridden a perfect machine.
