OK, would NEVER have heard of this game without you, Nook. It seems very neat--and real-to-life. You build your company town, selling your company gear, to adventurers who need your company gear to do your company quests! Right on to wishlist! (I won't buy until it's further along, though.)
Now this has my full attention. With time and polish what a game this could become
I remember seeing your videos around the time you posted and then forgot about the game. Took me around 40 minutes to remember who made the video and what the game was about, only knew you can have a tavern and adventurers visit the town.
I have seen you build and manage so many towns, cities, fortresses, kingdoms, empires, and whatnot, that I would totally trust you to be the mayor of my village in real life!
Have you seen how many citizens starve in my towns? 😆
I dunno man. He is always just winging it. lol
@@Nookrium But all that working and maintained infrastructure though!
The starvation part is what keeps it realistic. 😛
A hero guild builder and simulator? I like it! Still waiting for a Crossroads Inn successor actually worth playing.
"Adventurers don't like having windows in their rooms, because they get...attacked, you know?" As a Deft & Dorky watcher, I understood that reference.
😂
I agree on disliking crafting timer bars. By themselves they are a poor simulation of something that takes potentially hours into a boring 5 second wait. If you aren't going through the hours on wait timer, make the short time enjoyable and rewarding.
Waiting bars for crafting should be accompanied with choices required selecting within that time, button/click to rythme or timing, or any other method you can engage the player with to alter or improve or degrade the crafting results.
Rather just wait, then play a stupid mini game to get my product. That's even more tedious than a clock timer.
@@ItIsYouAreNotYour Now that is sad. Why are you even crafting at that point? Why even play? Do I even want to know?
@@AJB4D Any minigame that has to be done more than a few times is vastly more tedious than having to wait 5 seconds
Implemented once, to determine the quality for the first craft is fine. And this can be repeated/attempted again for better quality by being better at the minigame.
But repeated every time is grind for grind's sake. Waiting for crafting by itself means a player's agency can be diverted to other things.
Sim games tend to have a multitasking aspect and that goes well with crafting. But it all depends on execution.
I'd love to see a zombie apoc DLC for this.
Is it just me or does the background sound like Gotye's "Somebody that I used to know".
so this is just shop titans copy?
