My son insisted that he too helped in kitchen. He went on to become a first class chef in the British Diplomatic corps. He went on to the met as an armed protection officer. He has actually cooked for the several members of the Royal Family he has worked with today when the whole family members gather its an argument about who cooks when .
One of my boys insisted on learning how to cook. He turned out to be the one that loves cooking, although both boys cook supper because they have working wives. The other son is more likely to crock pot or grill. The son that has always loved to cook is into sous vide cooking now. Lol

That baby girl of yours is absolutely extra adorable! My husband and I have 8 all grown up kids. But we had our 3 youngest still at home. Then our son got out of the military so he was home.then we had one more daughter temporarily at home. Well I loved it but my husband got the Job he wanted an hour and a half from home.I now live in a apartment near my husbands work. My husband loves no kids me nope give me all my grown kids and 2 grandchildren. Our issue truly is trying to make very small pots just for me and my husband. You are on mama duty that is why you keep forgetting.
The fact that you forget to film meals shows that your family and daily life is more important than youtube and that is A GOOD THING!! ❤

Hi Ozark family Everytime I watch your children I'm so impressed by how kind and polite and happy they are. They are so sweet. Baby Rebecca is such a beautiful baby. All the food looks delicious, I can't wait to try your pizza crust recipe, although I will cut it in 1/4 for just me and my husband. Love your family ❤

Sarah is amazing!! I cringe to think about what I was out doing at her age. I didn’t even know how to make up my own bed let alone cook anything!
At her age I had married bringing our wedding forward by three years due to a family members terminal diagnosis.
Of course we got the fingers counting and comments about how we have ruined our live and it will never last. Well 54years later and after we both achieved double degrees becoming university lecturers in different universities and fields ( both universities are international known older established universities in UK.
Now retired and enjoying the pleasure of having time together.
Not a single regret would do it all again tomorrow

Hi Janice, I see so much YUMMY HERE❤. I’m 69 yrs old and I still love fluff er nutter andwiches❤ Have your children ever had one?? My kid’s loved them!! 💕🙏🙏. I guess I’m behind the times😮😮. Can you please share what “EGG ROLL in a BOWL” is? 🤔🤔. OMGOSH!!! Those are my AND my 96 yr old father’s Absolute favorite cookies ❤. We can only find them at ALDI and I buy them by the case!! Isn’t that CRAZY 😜😜 LOL. Forget every time😩 to tell you, I have the very same table cloth you have on your table. 😍

I used to tell my kids that I could tell exactly what was said in their homes by what how their children acted and spoke. Now I'm going to tell you guys, Janice and Shawn, it's very easy to see what your values are, how you speak to your children and how children are treated in your home just by watching your videos. You can't fake good parenting! Even Rebekah is very much unspoiled for being the baby. She eats what everybody else is eating and dosn't complain. And she's easily re-directed. Of course, she has a Mama who's a pro at re-directing childrens' attention by now! lol I just love watching your videos, no matter what they're about. It's wonderful to see well-behaved, unspoiled children.

I found you through Jenny Apple. She cooked healthy meal, exercised and never smoked but she got lung cancer. She passed away this Sunday. Keep her family in your prayers!

Growing up we were required to eat what was put on the table, period. There were only two meals we weren't required to eat - liver (yum) and smelt (yuck). I wondered what you do if your kids absolutely disliked something? I'm amazed at how easy going your children are when it comes to eating -- especially Rebekah.

I really enjoy these meals of the week videos ❤Your kids are so so precious :) Beautiful family! My favorite "frozen meal" is pierogi. It takes time to make it for a big family but it is cheap, and oh so delicious. Your girls can help to make them ahead of time and it just has to be cooked up in boiling water and then fried up a bit in butter. I think you all would love it! Lots of love to you and your family ❤

Just another comment or question. You said you don’t have carrots 🥕 , on hand very often, why don’t you have them more, they are good for you and they are cheap can feed a lot you put olive oil salt pepper and then dill or parsley basaltic vinegar. What ever spiced you like.
I know how you can remember,since I take it that you don’t have an alexa,you could set your phone timer or stove timer 1/2 hr before or ten minute before then it’ll remind you..❤❤😊
I have made most of my Thanksgiving sides so on the day, I can watch parade and throw things in the oven. No assembly and few dishes on the day. Why have we been buying the Kroger meal when this is much tastier and cheaper. We are getting the turkey from Popeyes.
I'm wondering with the salmon patties, if the amount of salmon used is the same when using freshly caught salmon vs. canned salmon?
I've only used canned salmon, so I'm afraid I don't have measurements for freshly caught! :)

How much do you think you save per month (or year) whichever is easier to calculate… from using your own eggs, making your own bread, growing your veggies, and buying only sale items and bulk? I left out butchering and milk because as much as I want to, I can’t kill something I raise (absolutely ZERO judgment there I WISH I could and hope to get over it someday), and I don’t have a cow yet and probably will only get a meat cow whenever I do get one (see I don’t have to kill that myself 😂 ) … asking this question because these are things I could actually change quickly if it’s a big savings.
Bet y'all had a blast eatin all that delicious looking food and having a hay ride. When I was a teenager I got to go on some hay rides and it was really fun! Brings back memories. Janice, don't worry about forgetting things. It's ok. I have found, that the older I get, the more I forget. I'll tell ya a funny thing that happened: I have to wear my glasses all the time, except when I take a shower or go to bed. One day I was walking around the house and freaking out because I couldn't find my glasses. I asked my husband Rick, "Have you by chance seen my glasses?" He started to laugh. I said, "What's so funny, are you making fun of me?" He said, "No, Love they're on top of your head." 🤪😁 I felt like an idiot.

You need to clean it right back and deprive it. Check out how to prove cast iron on UA-cam there's plenty of them.

How do you do this glassing and I thought the eggs couldn’t be washed before glassing?
You're right that they cannot be washed prior to water glassing! These eggs were placed in the bucket back in March and we did not wash them back then. We just found the cleanest eggs and preserved them. However, months later, when it comes time to use those eggs, then we do rinse them off under running water to wash off any of the lime solution before we crack them open. :) We've been happy with our water glassing for many years now, so I recommend it as long as it's done carefully.
