People tend to forget Palpatine spent 20+ years making this scheme, he still has to play the political game otherwise he wouldn't be able to rule. Not to be that guy, but wouldn't the Death Star have a copy of the plans on their computer? In a New Hope, they analyzed the attack patterns of the Rebels and discovered the flaw. By taking the plans Vader would stop the rebel attack, but also the discovery of the flaw since they needed the additional info supplied by the rebels to find the weakness. After a Galen Erso hid the flaw in the design phase, so everyone who came after that use the plans for their part of designing the Deat Star to its construction missed it. So the flaw in the Death Star would go unfixed.
I feel Luke is the type who would turn to the DarkSide because not only was that in George’s original script, but also The Emperor felt he could destroy his former identity in a way Vader never could, as revealed in the novelization of ROJ.

In a way he would’ve been much more responsible with his plans, perhaps going a different direction even with the whole plan, as he knew he had much to learn; that piece of Anakin’s leftover penchant for inquiry and lack of self-confidence and mistrust for his feeling which persisted until his ultimate sacrifice

The Death Star had a Gravity well projector in addition to its actual gravity for being so large. Any ship would be pulled out of hyperspace if it got close to the station.

Even without the reactor instability there are lots of ways to destroy the Death Star, or at least render it inoperable. Its armor is thick, but the weapon dish is literally right on the outside. You could pound it into submission with a big enough fleet, or just lure it into an ambush and throw some asteroids at it.
Here's the more important change. The first order would be more powerful. The reminats of the empire would have the power of the death star on there side. Yes they got star killer base 30 years later. But now they have it earlier in the timeline. How would this effect the shows like the mandolorian, or the Sequel Trilogy. Definitely want a part 2.

I feel like with so much less contact and knowing of his kids less in general he would have won the fight since his internal conflict wasn't as hard going as it was in the original story. Another route would be he sees padme in Leia and get very conflicted then
Seeing the space twins train together with Yoda and Obi Wan puts a smile on my face, especially towards the end when they fought together against their father in a two against one duel, and of course the ending remains the same, giving me chills that Anakin still won by the end, fulfilling his destiny.
Fun fact : All of Theory’s fan fictions are 10/10 and when u said obi wan wouldn’t be able to move as fast as he could well he could just use the force like dooku did to make him move fast and dooku was 83 and Obi was only 59 and Qui gon at his age moved fast

I love it. Very well done. I have some thoughts on this though... If Luke and Leia had extensive training from Yoda and Kenobi, they would have surely learned the lesson of “their lightsabers are their life”. They would never throw them away like Luke did in ROTJ or at the very least not both of them. Maybe they would deactivate their lightsabers or let their guard down momentarily for the emperor to get the upper hand. However I think even that would be a stretch Yoda would have warned them of the Emperor’s (and Vader’s) deceit, treachery, powers, and fighting style. That being said I’m not sure how to get to prophecy fulfillment like we all know and love. Perhaps you can’t with this plot change.
I think that the when Anakin fulfills his destiny it would be more formal in this version, or that Luke would Scarface himself for Lea and Lea would have been unconscious from Lightning and Vader would get pissed off and force choke the emperor and use his anger and attack him again and agian but no matter how much he brakes his bones or atemps to kill him using the dark side Vader would not be able to kill him then Vader new that you can’t kill a Sith Lord with anger as he tried so he remembered his good memories and Anakin would return and instead of using anger he would use his positive Jedi teachings and defeat him with the light side
