Mike do have a Clip for Sabbath's VOODOO Opening lick? The only Tabs I've found sound like crap and only one Video out there and you really can't see the guys finger placement. So I Just thought I'd ask Thanks.
one of the best riffs ever made... some folk say that sabbath plagiarized the doors on it... well, I don't think so, even if yes, Iommi destroyed the poor doors on this one, by far. But, looking the dates back in those days, Wicked world was composed by Tony Iommi, soon after when they changed the band's name for Earth, while after Jethro Tulls one-gig odyssey... Tony came with this song between feb and march of 1969 maybe during their first mini tour to denmark, Iommi said that he was trying put some original songs in setlist, and that's when Wicked World was born... I think Tony inspired himself from the very first Jethro Tull album, maybe from the track "Beggar's farm", songs that he actuallt rehearsed with ian anderson... and Door's "Wild Child" was their first song from 1969 album, released in september 68, well, maybe tony worshiped it... but he absolutely killed it, with a jazzy vibe, and of course with a propper bill's swing... no one could compare
I just started learning electric so this is a bit intimidating... but I’ll get there! 😁

Great Lesson! thanks Andy
Nice job on the verse section always played it differently but the fast muting gives it great articulation...
Try double stopping that first part to include the E string on the 12th fret along with the B
Awesome work Mike! Keep it up. Earned a subscription from me
Thanks man!
tanks a lot
I was looking for the arpeggio that goes during the middle of the song, before the solo
Sweet! Does Iommi usually tune down 1 and half steps for this song?
No, only live. The record is in E
