There's a couple interviews that are way older back in the early 90s back in the And justice for all days and he played acoustic guitar a couple times you know with with a group of people and I can remember him fondly saying wouldn't it be cool if we could play a whole concert with all the music in acoustic. He loves playing an acoustic guitar.

This man has performed in front of millions of people for 35 years, has seen and done it ALL, and look at how his hands shake from nervousness during "Nothing." I rarely complain on UA-cam, because I don't want to be that guy. Why is it that at live shows people do the drunk scream over parts of acoustic songs where it requires you to really listen? I dig it when everybody sings along with an artist...that's amazing! But,whenever there's a real dynamic light part, and everybody is trying to listen, and then there's some drunk chick or dude always screaming "I love you!!!!" Or "yeaaaaa with a loud whistle" soooo annoying. Haha. It's like, "STFU douche...here comes the chorus!" lol

Yes you DONT do this at an acoustic show, but it's up to the artist to capture the audience.playing a show like this is a lot different than what he does with Metallica. He's just not a very musical guy! Here we see him struggling thru some cowboy chords and singing in the one key that he can sort of sing in. Basically the emperor has no clothes!

My favorite music dude for sure. James has really been an inspiration for a great portion of my life. Growing up with Metallica in the 80's, they really changed my life. Their sound, voice, lyrics, everything about them. Everything! They just stood out to me. I remember listening to Ride the Lightening one time at the age of 12-13 thinking, even with my limited experience with music that he and they were going to something no other band had done before. James was always there to show the way so to speak. His energy has touched so many millions of people and especially me. Even through the 90's. Which I just recently really started checking out.
