My favorite music dude for sure. James has really been an inspiration for a great portion of my life. Growing up with Metallica in the 80's, they really changed my life. Their sound, voice, lyrics, everything about them. Everything! They just stood out to me. I remember listening to Ride the Lightening one time at the age of 12-13 thinking, even with my limited experience with music that he and they were going to something no other band had done before. James was always there to show the way so to speak. His energy has touched so many millions of people and especially me. Even through the 90's. Which I just recently really started checking out. Hail The Mighty Hetfield!
Billie's standing height equals James's sitting height :)
James and Jason should do an acoustic set!
The crowd is used to heavy metal and cant shut up when James plays some emotional music
respect for the artist and basic courtesy is common to all genres of music, this crowd had none.
Actually, when bends play slower songs us metal heads are usually hella silent. But these drunk weirdos can’t shut up for one second.
The best ever.
Eres la banda sonora de millones de vidas. Gracias James.
People, just shut up and listen. Great sound.
Billie Joe looking like Robert Smith!
You looking like markiplier lol
@@PigMCplayer bruh
who the fuck is that lol
He wishes he would. Billie couldnt even clean Robert's shoes. How Hetfield plays with such a poser ist beyond me.
@@mainlymusicman you sucks
Dude played in front of half a million Russians when the wall came down. And now he has 50 hipsters chatting about coffee. Huh.
Apparently Starbucks is more important than the God of metal
That was the most impressive and massive show I've ever seen.
1.6 million in Moscow
1.6 million russians dont you mean?
In 1991 there were from 600 thousand to 1.6 million people
Until it sleeps sounded awesome, F-off Load &Re-load haters.
Ok. Can I get some things together real quick or should I just . . . go . . .?
I agree. I thought it was awesome
i can't hear James play the solos because this crowd doesn't know when to cheer and when to stay quiet. this isn't a rock concert.
You couldn't hear James play any solos because he didn't play any solos...
This is basically a demo of how shit Metalica songs are without distortion added.
Carl Taylor Well if you actually played their songs on an acoustic guitar, you'd know that they sound better than most rock songs unplugged. A lot of Metallica songs have acoustic parts in them too, which are quite intricate for a metal band.
Wish audience shut it up for a minute in the beginning, it's acoustic set!
James Hetfield Turned the Page in History of Rock. Love You Metallica!!!
Fuck me, he sounds good again, love it especially how he seems nice now, smiling...guess age and the daughter did him a lot of good..much different than when he went through his attitude days...Bravo James!
Метталика peas
An American audience never fails to make you cringe.
😂
Just being in america these days makes anyone cringe.
Damn I'm American and I totally agree. These arrogant bastards in the crowd ruined what was otherwise a solid performance from James.
ben gandy you should see us mexicans. Its like americans but except we will go out of our way for the singer to hear us. Youll hear a random "TE QUIERO MUCHO!!!!"
You are all sell out bitches!!! What!! People from the country of origon as the same as the bands, Cant sing along? All giving a fuck about what everyone else thinks. there is no bigger minority then the individual. Have a nice day and go fuck yourself. Globalist shills.
His stage presence is so fucking powerful , that he can either make thousands of fans all together scream whatever he wants , and also with just a few words make everyone in a room to make absolute silence.
That's just one of the many reasons we called PAPA HET !!!
Billie can do it too. I love metallica and green day more than any other band. Billie has the stage presence of Freddie Mercury and James doesn't even have a comparable stage presence, because he is that great. I love them both!
i love the mashup of turn the page and boulevard of broken dreams
I think this old man has some potential. Maybe he should make a band, it is never too late.
@Caverman what ever brother. Drums 4 the biggest band in the world. Sold 130 million albums. I suggest you watch " the making of " videos of Metallica and yu will see his mastery of his craft. He's earned respect and the best drummer I've ever heard. Peace
He's not even old, dumbass.
@@MrParkerman6 wtf would you call an almost 60 year old man then, "dumbass"
@thebetbetunderground9548 that definitely is a word. I've seen it used a few times before.
Who else still listen to this masterpiece in 2020 👍
I hope James is doing well these days!!!
@Samuel Fyffe he went back again?
@@TheHolyFlesh Yes he did
TheHolyFlesh he went back in September I believe
TheHolyFlesh yeah he went back to rehab for a short stint but he’s back with short hair again, he’s played an acoustic song for a tribute not unlike this one the week he cane out it’s in youtube! Incredible performance
Had his full version as our wedding entry . Wanted full silence until my bride came in at start of guitar solo at the peek of song. Give the man respect!
Married to nothing else matters too, timing was perfect. Entrance when the intro started, finished the walk when the singing begane, and started dancing. Love this song so much. Can't wait to be at another Metallica concert, way too long ago!
Forever one of the best metal musicians I know of
I freakin' LOVE James Hetfield! This was awesome...made my night! Saw Metallica at Orion 2 day Fest in AC for my daughter's graduation gift and 1st concert...STAFF came up to me & my daughter and slapped PIT PASSES on our wrists just before they got on and performed "The Black Album" (my favorite album) in its entirety, for the first time ever! We both got guitar picks they threw out and lots of sweat from all 4 of them while performing. lol What a awesome, memorable night & 1st concert for my daughter. BEST CONCERT EVER!
Hey🌹, all love and how are you doing today?
Mom of the year.
