Ive been doing boxing workouts for about 6 months now and between you and expertboxing i have improved more than I thought. I do not have a training currently so its harder for someone with little experience to know right from wrong. Thank you for the videos. One question i have, Is there a difference in the way you hit the bottom of the bag than you do the middle? as in the approach to hitting the bottom since its harder.

Does anybody have a good link that shows the right-side? Can't seem to find them. Most show the left-side.
    Anyway, cool tutorial there. Thanks.

I'm a little long in the tooth for fighting, but I like boxing and boxing workouts. I'm righthanded but feel way more comfortable leading with my left hand in my stance, so this is how I work out. For a fighter, would I want to retrain myself to lead with the left? I have good power in both arms (for an old guy:) Thanks for your posts, they are good for workouts and for understanding fighting.

Any tips on what to do if the bag swings alot? Should i shorten the chain?! Or just a heavier bag? I believe its at least 100lbs! (Its my friends bag)

Nice video. The left hook is thrown from the hip. Don't flick it from the elbow. Good luck with your boxing/fights.

I hear you Sometimes I let the bag swing though because I want to simulate a fast moving opponent coming at me. I'll also assume this opponent has reached close in and I'll throw an uppercut combo at "him" as I'm tracking backwards. Guess I feel like this would better simulate an angry person in real life coming into my personal space or something. .

Look at all of the legends, they all visualize differently. As long as you know what counter or setup you're working on, you should improve so long as you're sticking to the fundamentals. It's not wrong to move the bag.

My gym's bag (I can't afford a gym, so I train myself) swings around no matter how hard I hit it. I'm not pushing my punches, and I can get good, snapping punches, but it still swings a lot. Any tips?
