I've had my Singer Tradition sewing machine for years and I haven't used it since sewing cloth face masks for the pandemic in 2020. I got it out today to sew a headrest cover and I was having trouble with the bobbin. Your video helped me step-by-step install the bobbin and get the machine going. I also learned a lot about my machine, you helped me discover the small thread cutter at the front side!
Thank You , single dad teaching my daughters who love your videos. Awesome job in details that my 8 and 9 year old were confident in hemming and sewing
FULL TIME RVERS REVIEW: We went to the library at Estes Park, CO and checked out the same sewing machine. We googled how to used, and we are glad we clicked on your video 🙌 Now we feel comfortable to use this machine for the first time 💪 THANK YOU ! liked and Subscribed
I’ve never touched a sewing machine in my life and recently I got this one because I have big plans for a small business. Your video helped me understand the machine more and at least be able to start the basics of my needs. Before I watched this, the machine looked very intimidating and confusing, now I feel more comfortable with what I’m doing! Thank you so very much for the detailed video!!
Very helpful! It’s been a while since I’ve sewn and when I bought this model machine at a garage sale I felt hesitant to get started. This video was the perfect refresher, now I can jump in! Great explanations and close ups!
Your video has been so helpful, I just brought a Singer Advance. I've been using a Sharp for years, I got to get use to somethings. Thanks for all your help and keep the video's coming!
OMG God bless your soul!!!! 🥲 I bought this same exact machine in 2020 during the covid pandemic to try my hand at a new hobby but I could not for the life of me figure out why my thread kept bunching up when I started sewing. Sadly I haven’t touched this machine since then lol The way you explained everything was magnificent and insanely helpful I was able to follow along and realized where I may have been messing up. Now I know what and where to check if I ever have another issue like that again. A million times thank you!!!!!!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Your video was just what I needed! Very nicely done, as well. I had not yet used my new machine, and when I first tried sewing my stitches bunched up and I couldn't figure out why. I have been sewing for years and with several different machines so I thought I had threaded this correctly, but you showed me what I had missed. Thank you!!
You had two mistakes in upper thread. The 1st is that you don't go thru the silver tension disk for the bobbin only. You actually will go around ( see #1pic ) and behind the rectangular tab ( follow the solid line #1 , not dotted for bobbin only ) tab that holds Silver bobbin tension disk on back then down into #2 . The other part you missed is the thread goes into the slit above needle Holder left of needle tightening thumb screw after #5 . Thanks, other part of demo is great 👍
Your gorgeous... And yes I have been sewing since I was 11. But I never really listen to folks teach how to sewing basics. I was self taught and I have acquired many tips given. But nevertheless, learning is endless.

Can you tell me what that gray piece of plastic that has a slit in the center is used for?
So helpful very good.
What are the measurements on the needle plate? Having trouble with my seam allowances and them having no measurements is difficult
