The perfect combination of nice pop punk rock'n'roll with nasty, filthy, deranged lyrics. Still one of my fave album from G.G. discography.
a lot on here is not offensive
Just got this on vinyl and man it rocks!!!
RIP GG ALLIN 🙏
GG was talented. He had potential and could have made it. Personality problems, drug problems, legal trouble, this all took its toll but it never stopped him. He kept on rockin right til the end.
Umm, I would argue that he DID make it, he’s a legend, still with lots of fans, his 1st pressing records are in high demand and can sell in the thousands.
@@KCNYC That's still just cult status, though.
@@triumphant39 “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do.”-Bob Dylan, and this certainly fits GG
You're not a real punk unless you got personality problems or a personality crisis lol
"If you're not trying to die everyday, then you're not living."

Thank gg. Allin ...living the rock and roll ...rock Rules
Thanks for this l have this on cd thanks again
Never thought I'd hear GG Allin playing real music that doesn't sound so fucked up. I like it.
So do I, I concur!
20:18 1980s Rock N Roll
PS: I am amazed, that a GG Allin album has some kind of production value
A decent punk production, if such a thing exists!
@@dougbennett8592 has a fresh poppy crisp sound
these guys were good....
"Assface!"
..."yeah!"
Gg allin’s best album!
Classic and awesome album !
Automatic and Unpredictable are the bomb, catchy as all hell, you'd almost think they were Ramones or even old Green Day tunes :)
Holy fucking shit, now I wanna' stomp on everything all around.!!
fucking anthemic , fantastic 77 street /punk with a damn fucking twist !!!
Perfect album.
GGallin cult eternal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
G.G. was the birth of true punk!
This is honestly a great punk rock album. I mean, this was GG Allin before he was actually GG Allin......but yeah this album is actually pretty rad.
This album still shows signs of the later GG in it.
Yea this record gets pretty filty at points mate !
GG allin not dead
Damn that’s deep
dang pre poop gg is actually pretty good
🤣 For real
Yes
GG Allin Born "Jesus Christ Allin." What a name to be born with. 😆
Yeah, his dad forced his mother to name him that.
Plus, the fact that his dad said on multiple occasions he was gonna murder them, it's no wonder he wound up like he did.
All that pain and anguish just couldn't be held back anymore.
He was hurting, and he let the world know about it.
@@NoBandwidth-0 anyone that calls him or merle a poser are wrong they should watch the documentary all these people into horror lyrics and that was his life
@@leahflower9924 burn the nonbelievers.
The whole point of GG's creative output was total and absolute devotion to his Art. And his Art was 'Excess'. He took Punk bto the absolute limit and made it pointless and impossible for anyone to go any further as far as shock value is concerned. The New York Dolls kicked off the Punk movement and GG Allin brought it, dragged by it's hair, kicking and screaming to its natural conclusion. So, please, spare all these trite "Oh, if only..." sentimentalities. Would you have preferred GG, still alive being a pathetic old man, wheeled out for banal punk retrospective interview specials in 2022?
You saw the gg documentary? GG dressed in drag at school to be like ny dolls
@@leahflower9924 I mean, he didn't mean it like he hated New York Dolls, in fact it's the total opposite. He just went harder and more unreachable than what the Dolls did, which was way too hard for its time, and still is today.
I WANT MY ROCKSTARS FUCKING DEAD!
This ain't bad man what the hell happened to this guy haha

The official line is he died on stage of a heroin overdose, but his brother told me his heart exploded in a rainbow of hate.

the part with the prostitutes on cherie love affair when they talk would be hilarious if herbert the pervert from family guy was the one speaking to them.HEY GIRLS BE CAREFUL.HE MAY BE A SICKO.LOL
The bass guy was pretty decent, wasn't he?
Three different bass players on this one. Merle Allin played on the earliest ones {Bored To Death, Beat, Beat, Beat, One Man Army}, Al Chappel played on most of the others, with the exception of, "Don't Talk To Me", on which the writers of that song - bassist Carl Square and drummer Bob MacKenzie - both played. GG plays drums on all except for that one. I'm not entirely certain whether it was Merle or Al on, "1980s Rock'n'Roll" and "Cherie Love Affair". The only thing done to, "Cherie Love Affair" in the Auburn, NH studio when the others were recorded, was the addition of the female vocal, which was not on the single.
@@JimDangerZone
I have the 45/single with that different mix of Cheri on, was it just GG doing the backup vocals? it sounded a lot like him
@@TheLarryburns84 I don't know for sure, because I wasn't there when those first 2 45s were made; but from what I recall hearing, it was like "1980s Rock'n'Roll" - band members doing the backup vocals. GG was probably one of them. He also played drums on all those early recordings. I was there when the "Always Was..." LP songs were recorded, and all band members joined in on backup vocals, and David Peel and his friend John Voodoo joined in. The female vocal on Cheri Love Affair was added in at that time, too. She was in a band in Boston, and GG invited her to come in and do that.
I like the random guitar solos I guess they got that from thunders too lol
Hi Merle
it's not up spotify :(
Jesus!
some people can throw garbage &leave garbage laying around in the grass/dirt/streets etc.. &expect the planet to take it with a good giving disposition but they can't handle a little thrown at or in their direction. maybe people shoul..#8was playing.do.
This isn't how I remembered it...where is 1980s rock n roll???
Steve Celestino This is the original release version
The reissue had 1980's Rock'n'Roll and one other track I'm pretty sure
EDIT: Nvm, it's just not listed
reminds me of the stooges
GG was best I to old to wear spiked collars
Never too old.
He wore just a collar
He did it because Iggy pop did it
First pop punk album
Tim King are you kidding?
+Skeletor Ramone Indeed. I guess that's why i never clasified Blondie as a punk group but some people do consider it like that...
Its power pop. Not pop punk at all
fuck your ,"power pop," there was never any such thing. punk is punk and all these Fucking sub-sub off-shoot genres are always made in hindsight by Fucking assholes!!
Tim King I would argue that the Simpletones out of California were the first pop punk band.
GG was pretty good but then he just completely lost it
Or found it and no-one cared.
Before he was bad
didn't think gg allin actually made good music
+Edward Barnes he even made a country album. if you're interested
Name?
