I love how they are showing that Barris is not an evil villain. She did what she had to do in the Clone Wars because she saw the hypocrisy and problems in the Jedi order. She may have dabbled in the dark side, but all she has done is what she feels is right. She’s a sympathetic villain at worst and almost an anithero. Great job guys!
She murdered multiple innocent people and then tried to cover her tracks by betraying 1 of her closest friends and killing someone else thats pretty evil villain. Im not saying she doesnt deserve redemption because she does but saying she wasnt briefly evil is an outright lie
As the devils advocate I’d say, you have to brake some eggs to make an omelet, but you are right. Perhaps the recency of these episodes verses the clone wars has tainted my perspective. She went about her acts for the right reason, but so does the Joker in the Dark Knight.

5:50 I think it's safe to assume that this was her first mission--she questioned the report about a Jedi being among the people. If she had been on missions before looking for Jedi and finding them, she would have known that there is no compromising with their duties.
Was it just me, or was anyone expecting more than 1 Jedi when the Kid said that "They" were in the Mountains? Because in my brain when the word "They" is explained, it means more than one person.

In the first episode they show the pressure to make the choice to join the inquisitors. They also showed her alone putting on the mask. She wasn't all in.
Revelation of Barris true choice was made at the end of act ii. If you see it that way it's not really sudden, specially because I think this arc is not just about Barris.
The fourth sister seemed a lot more passive in the Obi Wan show than here so we are to assume this is before that show?
